设计师就确定了这个创意：一名对敌方玩家进行“死亡标的打野射手，可以在对成功进行击杀和助攻时获得额外的奖励。
开发团队持续地针对这个概念进行探索，思考如何让这名英雄拥有不断增强的力量，最终我们决定使用双子的概念，千珏也最终成型。
Chris的设计概念引发其他设计师共鸣最终是设计师Chris的一张原画激发了其他设计师的兴趣——一个发光的虚化羊灵用弓箭射出一只暗影狼灵。
事实上，这张原画在设计师心中挥之不去。
双子的形象黑暗而诡异，所以设计师决定深入挖掘这个设定。
一般这个时候，剧情写手会编写出这名英雄在符文之地的一些故事、他们的力量如何以及他们的行为是怎样的等等。
我们为千珏写的第一段台词是和英雄选择语音类似的一段话，其中狼说：“羊，你说说看，我应该夺走些什么?”然后羊就直接回答说“夺走一切，亲爱的狼。
”经过激烈讨论之后，设计师意识到千珏可能成为符文之地上第一个代表生死的神话角色。
设计师想象了多种场景，从上古坟墓中依稀可见的代表死亡的千珏壁画，到比尔吉沃特土拨鼠日一样的狂欢庆典。
千珏的故事会建立起符文之地的神话基础，成为供人传唱的寓言与童谣，虽然孩子并意识不到其中的黑暗起源。
这两只动物：手持华丽长弓的坚定羊灵和舌头外吐的暗影狼灵，他们古怪而不祥。
设计师研究了多个文化中最早关于死亡的拟人化历史，发现人类史上很多神话最早都是从墓地说起的。
团队认为千珏应该是个独一无二的残酷死神，由那些幸免于死的人在生命的最终时刻目击，然后口口相传。
为了让角色更加独特明晰，我们让羊灵和狼灵的死亡变得不同。
接受羊灵就是感恩生命并平静离开，而逃离狼灵则意味着惨烈恐惧的结局。
面具对千珏来说非常重要。
羊灵戴着狼灵面具，而狼灵则戴着羊灵面具，如此一来，阴阳相成，浑然一体，互补所缺。
对千珏来说，羊灵知悉世界，但几乎没有感觉。
而狼灵感知万物，却缺乏知识。
我们很喜欢这个设计，就是因为这两个灵魂从来不自相残杀或你争我夺，因为说到底，羊和狼是一个整体的两半。
