支票的提示付款到底是什么意思
比如说我有张支票，要在十天内去银行提示付款，然后再等几天去银行取款么
支票的提款期为票日起10天，示付款期内，持票人可以随时去银行提示付款。
超过提示付款期的支票，银行就不付款了。
支票没有付款期限，银行见票即付。
为了防止持票人长久不提示付款，付款人的责任长久不能解除，票据法规规定，支票的提示付款期为自出票日起10天。
比如8月1日签发的支票，提示付款期为8月1日至8月10日，在这个期限内，只要是银行正常的工作日，持票人都可以去银行要求银行付款。
8月11日以后，超过了提示付款银行，持票人再去银行要求付款，银行也不会再付款了。
《中华人民共和国票据法》：第九十条支票限于见票即付，不得另行记载付款日期。
另行记载付款日期的，该记载无效。
第九十一条支票的持票人应当自出票日起十日内提示付款；异地使用的支票，其提示付款的期限由中国人民银行另行规定。
超过提示付款期限的，付款人可以不予付款；付款人不予付款的，出票人仍应当对持票人承担票据责任。
