剧情介绍 安娜Anna（菲丽希缇·琼斯 Felicity Jones 饰）是一个来自英国的留学生，而雅各布Jacob（安东·尤金 Anton Yelchin 饰）则是土生土长的美国人。
他们同时就读于一所洛杉矶的大学。
在大学的校园里，安娜对雅各布暗生情愫。
也许是荷尔蒙使然，或者又 是青春的冲动，安娜给雅各布写了一首爱情的小诗，别在了他汽车的挡风玻璃前。
看到了小诗之后，雅各布联系了安娜，于是一段似真似幻、烈火干柴的纯洁爱情就在两个年轻人之间萌生。
可是安娜的护照签证到了期，因为爱情，她留在了美国。
不久之后，移民局找上了门来，强制遣送安娜回到了英国。
并且给出了安娜一个如同晴天霹雳般的惩罚：她今后永远不能再次踏上美国的国土。
安娜回到了英国，雅各布则留在了美国，这种远距离的恋爱让两个年轻人都备受煎熬。

在爱情的驱使下，雅各布踏上了去英国寻找爱情的旅途……真实的故事 虽然评论界都认为德雷克·多雷穆斯“创造”出来了一个好剧本，但是前德雷克太太对此却心知肚明，因为早在电影开拍之前，她就对这部电影的每一个细节和每一处情节转换了然于胸，因为《爱疯了》的故事，就是她和德雷克先生的相遇和相恋史。
只不过，时光荏苒，物是人非，这一对原本的生命共同体，已经在2008年离了婚。
影片标题，《爱疯了》（Like Crazy）来自德雷克和女友的通信的结尾。
