”（二人对视）仲卿：娘子更憔悴，母亲又让你陪她打麻将了吧
（兰芝低头，沉默）兰芝（抬头）：“只怕母亲是不会留我了。
”仲卿：“娘子莫担忧，我不会让你离开我的，待我再去向母亲求情。
”（离去）第二场：（遣去甚莫留）（焦母正襟危坐于前，焦仲卿上前一鞠躬）仲卿：“母亲啊，您看，兰芝她温柔体贴，对你恭敬孝顺，你为什么总对她不满意呢
”焦母：我的乖儿子啊，你听话，这种女子不要也罢。
