泰坦尼克号里面回忆的老太太是否真实
不是真的 虚构的 但是确实有类似的事电影《泰坦尼克号》中虚构的爱情故事曾感动了无数人。
但鲜为人知的是，当年泰坦尼克号上曾真的上演了一出生死恋——美国艺术家爱德华和女作家海伦在船上一见钟情， 1912年4月14日，当船撞上冰山并沉没时，海伦登上救生艇，而爱德华却随船沉入大海。
尘封94年后，一份由海伦所写的36页“沉船日记”日前曝光，让这一真实版《泰坦尼克号》爱情故事浮出水面。
艺术家与记者一见钟情 据报道，这一真实故事的男女主角，分别是时年60岁的艺术家爱德华·肯特，和53岁的离异女作家兼记者海伦·邱吉尔·康迪。
1912年4月，素不相识的两人登上了从英国南安普敦港出发驶往纽约的泰坦尼克号。
和电影《泰坦尼克号》中的穷小子杰克和富家女露丝相似，在船上，爱德华和海伦相遇并一见钟情，多次在船上的豪华餐厅约会。
永别之际赠送定情物 4月14日晚11时30分，当泰坦尼克号撞上冰山后，船上一片慌乱。
海伦在“沉船日记”中写道：“撞击就发生在我的船舱下部，巨大的冲力使我跌倒在地，舱门也被掀开。
” 不久，爱德华找到海伦，要带着她逃生。
由于救生艇数目不够，海伦和其他女乘客一起登上6号救生艇逃生，爱德华自己却留在船上。
在两人即将永别时，海伦交给爱德华一个银制小酒瓶和一张她母亲的袖珍画像，作为永别时的定情物。
海伦写道：“他沉默地拿着我的礼物，站在泰坦尼克号的栏杆旁向我挥手告别。
那是我最后一次见到他。
” 被困者平静等待死亡 15日凌晨2时25分，爱德华和1500多名其他乘客一起，随泰坦尼克号一起沉入冰冷大海，而海伦则作为700多名幸存乘客之一，目睹了泰坦尼克号沉没的恐怖过程。
她写道：“倾斜的船身慢慢沉没，灯光一盏接一盏地滑入海水。
船尾的空间越来越少，人们安静地等待着。
再也没有无线电呼救声，也没有发射火箭求救。
船上的人以超然的勇气等待死亡，没有尖叫和悲号，相反，所有人的恐惧和绝望全都化为一声沉重的呻吟。
” 定情物送还女主角 当爱德华的遗体从海中打捞出来后，其家人在他的夹克口袋里发现了海伦送给他的定情物，并在小酒瓶上发现一行题字“忠诚但不幸”——这行字正是海伦所在的“丘吉尔家族”的座右铭。
根据这一线索，爱德华的妹妹夏洛特几经周折，终于在一年后找到了居住在纽约“第五大道”的海伦，并亲手将两件遗物交给她。
据悉，当夏洛特将画像和酒瓶交还给海伦时，海伦激动得大哭，并在1913年5月15日给夏洛特写了封感谢信，上面写道：“非常高兴你将它们送还给我，这将是我永远的爱和纪念。
”1949年，海伦以90岁高龄去世。
94年后日记首次曝光 尘封94年后，海伦所写的这份36页“沉船日记”日前首次曝光。
4月29日，该日记将和海伦赠给爱德华的遗物之一——其母亲的画像共同拍卖。
另一件海伦赠给爱德华的遗物——银酒瓶，已在2005年10月以3.4万英镑高价被拍卖。
