敢死队的英文最常见的是 dare-to-die corps， dare-to-die 是直译，敢死，corps 是军团的意思。
加个e 就是尸体，corpse.另外， 美国有部电影，the Expendable，中文翻译过来也是敢死队的意思，expendable 是可消费的，可被消耗的，引申过来就是可以被牺牲掉的，所以翻译成敢死队。
除了以上两个 death-squad ，suicide squad 都是敢死队的意思 ， squad，班，组的意思。
