猜火车--据说看过这部96年出品的英国片的人只有两种态度，要么喜欢得要命，要么看得郁闷的要命，没有中间派。
本片用苏格兰混混青头在街头狂奔的独白做为开头，青头和一群同伙们们无所事事，用猜测下一列火车何时到来打发时间（本片片名的由来），他们吸毒、偷盗，还共同养着一个不知道他们中的哪一个是父亲的孩子。
经过一系列故事，青头最终告别了混混行列，独吞了一大笔贩毒收入，走向平庸的生活。
我这样介绍可能是相当糟糕的，但本片确实非常的精彩，人物的对白、独白、镜头和色彩的应用绝对打破常规。
其中有一个所有电影史都不会放过的镜头，青头为了捡回鸦片栓剂一头扎入“ 苏格兰最衰的厕所”，马桶底下，却是清澈的水下世界。
