一路帮助玲子将小地藏王回归原位，玲子喜欢一路想将一路带到她的那个世界永远和一路在一起，一路答应了玲子的请求，正准备和玲子离开这个世界的时候，听到寺院和尚说一路快死而狂奔到缘切山的一路的母亲大声呼喊着一路，玲子看到一路的母亲伤心的哭泣，不忍心让一路的母亲也尝受失去孩子的痛苦，决定离开一路。
临走前玲子告诉一路，她会幸福的，也会永远记得一路。
第二天上学的路上，一路向其他人讲起玲子的事情，其他人却都没有任何印象。
学校里，一个同班的女孩拿来一盆不应该在冬季开放的花朵，却被逃课的一路拿到了缘切山，栽种在象征着玲子的小地藏王和她母亲大地藏王的面前。
灵寐告诉一路只要他想见玲子，玲子还是可以回来的，一路却说不用了，玲子只要她幸福怎么都好，只要玲子能够过的幸福。
灵寐感叹一路的成长，为一路的成长感到欣慰。
待一路走后，地藏王的周围都开满了一路栽种的花朵，半空中玲子和母亲微笑的离开了。
下山后的一路遇到了父亲，父亲责问一路是不是逃课了，一路却号啕大哭说自己永远不会结婚了，因为自己的新娘早就死掉了，一路的父亲被一路的反常吓到了。
玲子的事情过后，一切都恢复了正常，和同伴一起上学的路上，一路又遇到有人向他求助，帮助灵魂的生活继续进行着。
