The Lion KingIII - Hakuna Matata: 其实本片在美国本地片名是叫做 The Lion King 1 ½，其它海外国家发行才都是称为 The Lion King 3，据说是因为迪斯尼觉得在许多非英语系的国家，“分数”并不是使用很普遍，因此海外版才直接称之为第3集。
迪斯尼继推出《狮子王》电影后，后来又在1998年推出续集影音产品首映系列作品《狮子王2辛巴的荣耀》，一样颇受欢迎。
