不同在:当,现代汉语中有两个读音,一是dang1,一是dang4。

按某些词典的解释: ⒈当时、当年、当夜、当日,这几个词中,当可以读一声,也可以读四声。

但是两者意思略有不同。

读一声时,倾向于和现在比。

当时,那时候;当年,那年月;例子:①当时年青,奋不顾身。

②遥想公瑾当年,小乔初嫁。

读四声时,倾向于和同时发生的另一件事情比。

当时,就在那时候;当年,就在同一年。

例子:①这个新建的厂子当年就收回了投资;②他砍了我一刀,当时我就还了他一剑。

⒉当地,也有两个读音。

读一声:指某人所在或某事发生的地方。

例:当地人相信这画中有鬼。

读四声:倾向于同一地方。

例:他砍了我一刀,我一步也走不动,就在当地倒下了。

事实上,这个字的两个读音并不好区分,经常听中央台播音员读错。

个人认为,这个字读两个音出来的意义互有交叉,不宜如此区分。

应该可以把这些都归读为dang1,而四声专管“当铺”这个意思。
