在我的记忆里我的第一本课外书是《安徒生童话》，那是妈妈给我买的。
那时侯我刚刚上小学三年级，每次一放学便把它捧在手上津津有味的读。
还拿它在同学中炫耀。
也正是第一本书让我了解到了课外知识的美，我把它一直珍藏到现在，同时也喜欢上了课外书。
我一直相信书籍是我进步的阶梯，我将它一路攀爬到知识的最高峰。
失败是成功之母。
每个人做事都会有失败，一些人在经历过一次失败后。
对自己失去了信心，不愿再坚持下去。
刚一开始我也是怀着这样的心态，但自从我知道了这句话便彻底的改变了自己的做法。
刚入初中时，我的英语因为从一开始就没有打好基础，初一的时候更是摸不着头脑。
每次考试都只有三四十分。
后来我决心把英语成绩提上来。
于是跑去问老师学习英语的方法和记单词的方法，在经过一段时间的努力后，终于考试及格了，现在总算是达到了中等水平。
虽然我的进步并不是很大，也没有那么明显。
