西蒙斯是真的离开了神盾局，去了别的组织，至于菲兹经常觉得西蒙斯就在自己的身边，那要么是菲兹的幻觉，要么就是西蒙斯带了隐身装置。
不过在神盾局特工第二季中，西蒙斯将和菲兹重逢。
