30年前，人们住的都是土房，房顶连瓦片都没有。
下雨天，人们可就遭殃了，外面可就遭殃了，外面雨大，屋里雨小，有时墙壁也会掉土。
人们吃的是高粱米、玉米面、野菜，小米饭是等来了客人才吃的，更不用说大米、白面了，根本就没有。
那时人们穿的都是粗布衣，补丁罗补丁，家里孩子多的，大的穿小了，二的穿，二的穿小了，老三穿， 一直穿到实在不能穿了，用来给孩子做鞋，一年都穿不上一件新衣，还有许多孩子因为家穷，念不起数，都没有上过学校。
交通工具就更没有了，出门全是步行。
现在，家家住的都是砖瓦结构，屋里装修得是富丽堂皇，有的还该起自己的小别墅。
吃的是大米、白面、鸡、鸭、鱼、肉，天天不断，穿的衣服，一年四季都换新装。
