重庆的夏天是一支锅沸腾的声西瓜被劈声音，还有长江翻滚的声音的交响乐。
炎热的夏日，重庆人必须干的一件事儿，便是吃火锅。
燥热的大堂里，人声鼎沸，空气里漂浮着人们的汗味儿、火锅的麻辣味儿和猜拳的声音。
一口大铁锅里，面上浮着无数的花椒、辣椒和零星的几块姜片，锅里往往还放着一块拳头大小的牛油。
锅下的火苗在嗞嗞地舔着大铁锅，将牛油在锅里慢慢地融化，锅里的汤底也开始吐出气泡，终于翻腾起来。
这时红油里的姜片、辣椒、花椒，在锅里翻滚着，散发出诱人的香味。
菜也端上来了，白的鸭肠、黑的木耳、红的火腿片......看得人“口水直流三千尺”。
夹起一条鸭肠，放进锅里一烫，在香油碟里拌一拌，夹着几颗蒜泥放进嘴里一咬。
随着一声脆响，麻、辣、鲜香四种味道同时在味蕾上绽开。
那味儿简直妙不可言!麻，麻得你嘴唇失去了知觉;辣，辣得你直吐舌头;鲜，鲜得你大呼过瘾;香，香得你在火锅的世界里流连忘返。
吃完了火锅，重庆人必干的一件事就是跑到江边游泳。
男人们赤条条兴冲冲地一头扎进了江里，畅游了起来，小孩子们坐在轮胎上嬉闹玩耍，女人们则站在岸边的岩石扎堆聊着家常。
长江翻滚着夹着黄沙扑打过来，一个浪头便把人冲出老远，小孩们兴奋地惊叫着，大人们则笑着指指点点，一派祥和幸福的样子。
游完了泳，回家一边大口啃着西瓜，一边看着电视。
