保险公司产说会的解释及由来
保险公司“产说会”全称是“保险产品说明会”,这一销售方式诞生于2000年的广州,首创者是平安保险公司的吴军。
严格地讲,不是保险行业最早做批发的,只是引进升级。
吴军之后又提出并牵头设计了一套全新的销售方式,叫E行销,再一次改变了整个行业(整个保险行业,甚至国内金融业第一个实现真正可落地的电子化销售流程,将原来最快7天完成的流程变成5分钟),不同于乔布斯、马云,数年来很多人都不断地改变着各种行业,只不过这些人没有站在互联网上,没有站在公众面前,他们是背后的大佬和行业英雄。
这一销售方式诞生于2000年的广州。
某保险公司派驻人到广州、在PX寿险广东分公司(简称“广分”)推广电子商务期间鼓捣出来的。
此之前,保险行业只有用于增员(招人)的创业说明会(即“创说会”)。
派驻者推进工作平平,让代理人接受电子化确实很难,让寿险交叉销售PX证券进展也不大。
重压之下,压出了一个上进青年的爆发力。
有两个现象引起注意,一是保险公司特别喜欢请人来讲课培训,比如广分邀请保险行业名嘴吴学文、上海分公司著名讲师JXX(后任分公司培训部经理)、总部非传统产品部DXX(后掌管泰康资管)等,来广州分享保险理念、销售技巧,宣导刚推出的投连险和销售方法等,气氛热烈;另一个现象是当时PX代理人热衷于邀请客户吃饭、开会,内容多限于服务和座谈、转介绍,客户挺开心。
但没有嵌入销售动作,所以没有业绩产出。
结合这两个现象,加上曾参加过的安利说明会,开始瞎琢磨:能否将保险业“零售”业态升级为“批发”
于是诞生了“把培训会和服务会改造成为产品说明会”这一大胆想法:把“讲师对着代理人讲”改为“直接对客户讲”;让“讲增员服务”变为“讲公司实力讲产品销售”;将地点由影剧院、职场会议室,升级为高级酒店、会所;将会议流程化可复制……会怎么样呢
恰好当时手上有一点推广费用,带着这个资源,斗胆将这个想法讲给PX广分的一把手LXX(后在总部位于大连的某寿险公司执掌某分公司),一拍即合,同意试一下。
2000年的11月8日,中国保险史上第一场产品说明会,在PX证券环市东路营业部所在的华信中心顶楼多功能厅召开了。
PX证券出面搞定了场地——能与PX寿险实现本地合作,他们求之不得。
受众是当时分公司东X营业区5X部代理人及其准客户共计百余人,该部经理LXX后被挖到合资寿险公司任总监。
首次尝试的流程控制得不错,但内容偏散:PX集团的品牌和实力(主讲XXX当时是总助,现已是PX北方某分公司一把手)、电子商务如何NB,PX证券的服务和投资连结保险如何好……一场下来稍有点混乱,不过代理人和客户很兴奋,不少客户真的在会后就签了单。
第一次尝试成功,总结形成了流程化的《寿险会议销售操作手册》,一篇PPT文档,包括了从准客户选择、分工、通知和确认、现场执行、会后追踪等一系列较完整的SOP,甚至细致到邀请函和短信的样本、食物选用香蕉或桔子不能有苹果和瓜子以降低会场噪音、如何说服客户不带孩子减少干扰等细节。
广分决定单干。
第二场产说会很快在四星级的广信江湾大酒店召开,删减了PX证券的内容,强化了理财理念和投连产品导入,专设现场意向签单,增加抽奖……总结优化就是生产力,效果奇佳,现场意向签单人数和金额虽已不记得,但是“没想到出乎预料的好”。
两场下来,经验和效果在手,让广分决心大干。
但另一个问题来了:没经费了
原来的费用用光了,分公司费用也不敢乱用,于是分公司有人想出了“卖票”:20-50元一张门票,代理人按照带来客户数自费购买。
又一个“没想到”:平日里节衣缩食的代理人毫不畏惧,纷纷掏钱买票——想想也是,只要搞定一个客户,就能赚到数千,几十块钱的门票算什么
一发而不可收
产说会成为追求业绩增长的捷径,“销售方式”在包装宣传中被升格为“销售模式”。
次年,据说广分“历史性第一次完成了总公司下达的业绩任务、第一次在广东超越国字号市场份额、成为龙头老大”。
单凭一种销售模式迅速崛起,广分成为PX体系内的一个“焦点、现象”。
此之前,广分派人到北京、上海、深圳学习或邀高手来授课,演变接待各地来广州取经应接不暇。
策划者在广东地区项目开展因此直接受益,广分领导大开绿灯、各层级积极配合,各项KPI名列北上广深四大区域之首……
