”15年前中国满怀期待地向世界作出庄严承诺，但世界辜负了她；15年后，当奥运迈着轻盈的步伐向我们走来时，我们又当还世界一个怎样的惊喜呢
充满妙想的水立方、规模宏大的鸟巢……一个个奥运场馆拔地而起，圣火传递、歌曲征集也火热进行中，相信那时的北京定会热闹非凡，黑皮肤的非洲人，蓝眼睛的欧洲人，金头发的美洲人……会从四方云集；那时的北京定将变成一个被绿色笼罩的城市：树木更多更茂盛，花儿更红更娇艳，小河更清更翠绿……就连天空也将变得蔚蓝如镜。
但这还远远不够，远远不够
不久前，曾看到这样一则报道，说的是新加坡，新加坡是一个通用英语的国家，这个国家的公共场所的各种标语大多是用英语书写。
但其中的一些文明礼貌的标语，如“不准随地吐痰”、“禁止吸烟”、“不准进入草坪”等却用中文书写。
为什么呢
人家回答：“因为有这些不文明行为的大多数是中国大陆的游客。
”为此，到新加坡考察的一位中学校长语重心长地说：“不文明行为也是国耻。
” 不知大家是否记得，三年前中央电视台报道，国庆节后的天安门广场，随处可见口香糖残迹，40万平方米的天安门广场上竟有60万块口香糖残渣，有的地方不到一平方米的地面上，竟有9块口香糖污迹，密密麻麻的斑痕与天安门广场的神圣和庄严形成了强烈反差。
文明，一个并不陌生的字眼，它是社会进步的标志，几千年来人类不断追求的也就是这两个字。
文明的举止，文明的行为，加上恬静、幽雅、舒适的环境，浓郁的文化氛围，良好的比赛设施，它将在世人面前展现一个既开放又文明，既漂亮又健康的新中国形象。
反之，徒有幽雅的环境，良好的设施，国人却有着以上不尽人意的表现，那无疑会留给世人一个“金玉其外，败絮其中”的印象。
鲁迅先生说：“中国欲存争于天下，其首在立人，人立而后凡事举。
” “立人”的意思便是要完善人的思想和文明修养，人的文明修养并不是与生俱来的，而是靠后天不断完善的。
完善个人道德修养，便有了推进社会公共文明的基础。
我想，一个社会的公共文明水平，足可以折射出一个社会一个国家的文明程度，一个人如果不遵守社会文明，小则会影响自身形象，大则会影响国家声誉。
梁启超说：“少年智则国智，少年强则国强。
”我们是祖国的未来，我们是祖国的希望。
但在我们美丽的校园里总能看到极不和谐的纸屑、食品袋；在教室走廊上总能看到一部分同学追逐打闹，推推搡搡；总有部分同学讲脏话、粗话，随意攀爬树枝，甚至还有个别同学故意损坏学校的公共财物。
如果我们对奥运的热情，仅仅停留在口头上，那我们“还世界一个惊喜”的承诺，也只能给世界一个失望。
同学们，作为中华民族的一员，我们不是每个人都能走上奥运的赛场，在五环旗下迸发光彩
但我们也有自己的奥运舞台，用我们一颗诚挚的心，为北京增添光彩
作为伟大祖国的公民，我们应当找准自己的位置，用自己的行动装点全民的奥运梦。
你和我也许不会有刘翔那样历史性的跨越，但我们每个人跨出文明的一小步，中国社会将向前迈出和谐的一大步。
正如一则公益广告所说：“其实文明 就在我们心中，我们会在生活中不经意地流露着。
”有时，多一个手势，对别人来说，就是多一份体谅；有时，多一点耐心的等待，对别人来说就是一种关爱；还有时，多一点分享，对别人来说，就是多一份温暖。
文明是一种力量，就像奥运火炬传递一样，在每个人心中传递，也能够汇聚所有人的热情。
就让我们从自己做起，从小事做起，讲文明、讲奉献，关心奥运，支持奥运。

2008梦想北京奥运 尊敬的各位同志们，大家好我是XXX，今天我给大家带来演讲的题目是：《2008梦想北京奥运》。
自从古希腊奥运会开展以来，熊熊的奥运圣火燃烧了几千年，它有时兴旺，有时衰落。
竟有一千多年的时间中断了奥运圣火的燃烧，它失望而悲伤地离开了世间，而这一走就是1489年。
而终于在1883年重新回到了世间。
古希腊的奥运圣火飘呀飘、飘呀飘，几乎飘过了世界的每一个角落。
如今，它远飘重洋，飘到了中国，飘到了北京。
奥运是什么
奥运是人类体能的博览会。
似海豚，有着那么多优美的泳姿；似猎豹，百米冲刺风驰电掣…… 我看到，奥运会主会场形如鸟巢，透明闪亮，它的蓝色外衣在阳光的照耀下显得格外引人注目。
我看到，激动人心的时刻如期而至，开幕的钟声响遍神州
伴随着动听的乐曲，运动员们英姿飒爽地迎面走来，等候已久的观众立刻起身欢呼、鼓掌…… 我看到，好像是巨人姚明，“过五关斩六将”带领男篮挤进了四强；好像是郭晶晶，纵身一跳又获一金；好像是刘翔，“骏马奔驰”飞身跨栏，再次刷新世界纪录…… 哈哈
30、40、50、60……中国的金牌总数直线上升，稳稳地站在金牌总数第一的位置，已把对手远抛身后
这些令人骄傲的信息,使得数百运动员们以及14亿华夏儿女在不同的方位用不同的语调呼喊同一个心声：“自豪，北京
”“胜利，北京
”“光荣，北京
”…… 再过一个新年，我们将亲手把五环旗升起在世界的东方；再过一个新年，我们将让“同一个世界，同一个梦想”传遍世界；再过一个新年，我们将让正义、圣洁的火焰在北京燃烧；再过一个新年，我们将让烙上中国光辉印记的奥运成为有史以来最辉煌、最成功、最出色、最雄伟的盛会
作为北京奥运的吉祥圣物，“贝贝”、“晶晶”、“欢欢”、“迎迎”、“妮妮” 分别代表一个美好的祝愿----繁荣、欢乐、激情、健康、好运。
舒展翅翼，我心飞翔。
带着我的憧憬，带着我的追求，飞向蓝天，飞向大海…… 为了2008年的奥运会，国家出了我们无法想象的大量资金，一面是绿化，一面是建设，对于发展中的我国来说这八年绝不算富裕。

那么这将是一件什么样的事情呢
第29届世界奥运会即将在北京举行。
这是多么另人振奋的一件事情啊，早在01年7月13日，当国际奥委会把点燃奥运圣火的地点选在北京时，全国上下一片欢腾的景象。
这是新世纪给北京的一次新机遇，这是全世界人民对我们中国人民的充分肯定，这是我们所有中华儿女的骄傲。
在热烈庆祝北京申办2008年奥运会成功的喜悦气氛中，奥运会的脚步也慢慢向我们走来，2007年是北京奥运筹备的决战之年，奥运会的各项准备工作已经启动。
如何办好此次北京奥运会，向全世界人民展示新北京、新奥运，展现绿色奥运、人文奥运、科技奥运的时代名词，体现千年东方礼仪之邦历经千年而不衰的文化，是2008北京奥运会是否成功的关键。
文明礼仪作为人口素质最基本的要素，需要我们对此有新的认识，做出新的实践。
和谐是当今世界人们的共同心声，社会需要和谐，北京奥运更需要和谐。
今天，我们即将向全世界敞开大门，在 2008年8月8日迎接来自五湖四海的运动员和国际友人。
能够在中国举办新一届的奥运会，这是新中国体育工作者和无数中国人民的共同梦想。

Fuwa also embody both the landscape and the dreams and aspirations of people from every part of the vast country of China. In their origins and their headpieces, you can see the five elements of nature--the sea, forest, fire, earth and sky--all stylistic rendered in ways that represent the deep traditional influences of Chinese folk art and ornamentation. Spreading Traditional Chinese Blessings Wherever They Go In the ancient culture of China, there is a grand tradition of spreading blessings through signs and symbols. Each of Fuwa symbolizes a different blessing--and will honor this tradition by carrying their blessings to the children of the world. Prosperity, happiness, passion, health and good luck will be spread to every continent as Fuwa carry their invitation to Beijing 2008 to every part of the globe. At the heart of their mission--and through all of their work--Fuwa will seek to unite the world in peace and friendship through the Olympic spirit. In China's traditional culture and art, the fish and water designs are symbols of prosperity and harvest. And so Beibei carries the blessing of prosperity. A fish is also a symbol of surplus in Chinese culture, another measure of a good year and a good life. The ornamental lines of the water-wave designs are taken from well-known Chinese paintings of the past. Among Fuwa, Beibei is known to be gentle and pure. Strong in water sports, she reflects the blue Olympic ring. Jingjing makes children smile--and that's why he brings the blessing of happiness wherever he goes. You can see his joy in the charming naivety of his dancing pose and the lovely wave of his black and white fur. As a national treasure and a protected species, pandas are adored by people everywhere. He is a child of fire, symbolizing the Olympic Flame and the passion of sport--and passion is the blessing he bestows. Huanhuan stands in the center of Fuwa as the core embodiment of the Olympic spirit. And while he inspires all with the passion to run faster, jump higher and be stronger, he is also open and inviting. Wherever the light of Huanhuan shines, the inviting warmth of Beijing 2008--and the wishful blessings of the Chinese people--can be felt. The firery designs of his head ornament are drawn from the famed Dunhuang murals--with just a touch of China's traditional lucky designs. Huanhuan is outgoing and enthusiastic. He excels at all the ball games and represents the red Olympic ring. Like all antelopes, Yingying is fast and agile and can swiftly cover great stretches of land as he races across the earth. A symbol of the vastness of China's landscape, the antelope carries the blessing of health, the strength of body that comes from harmony with nature. Yingying's flying pose captures the essence of a species unique to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, one of the first animals put under protection in China. The selection of the Tibetan Antelope reflects Beijing commitment to a Green Olympics. His head ornament incorporates several decorative styles from the Qinghai-Tibet and Sinkiang cultures and the ethnic design traditions of Western China. Strong in track and field events, Yingying is a quick-witted and agile boy who represents the yellow Olympic ring. Every spring and summer, the children of Beijing have flown beautiful kites on the currents of wind that blow through the capital. Among the kite designs, the golden-winged swallow is traditionally one of the most popular. Nini's figure is drawn from this grand tradition of flying designs. Her golden wings symbolize the infinite sky and spread good-luck as a blessing wherever she flies. Swallow is also pronounced yan in Chinese, and Yanjing is what Beijing was called as an ancient capital city. Among Fuwa, Nini is as innocent and joyful as a swallow. She is strong in gymnastics and represents the green Olympic ring. And, how Chinese people think and do for the Olympic Games?Chinese people always appreciate the purposes and principles of Olympic ideal, support the efforts of Olympic Games to promote world peace. The Chinese Government and people are doing our the utmost\\\/best to prepare for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, and shooting at the pageant with advocating Olympic ideal, sparkpluging world peace and enhancing the relationships among the world.
