Two frogsA group of frogs were traveling through the woods .Suddenly，two of them fell into a deep pit . When they saw how deep the pit was , they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead . The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might . The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead . Finally , one of the frogs took heed of that the other frogs were saying and gave up . He fell down and died . The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could . Once again , the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die . He jumped even harder and finally made it out . When he got out , the other frogs said ,”Did you not hear us ?”The frog explained to them that he was deaf . He thought they were encouraging him the entire time . This story teaches us ：The life is not plain sailing .It’s full of frustrations and sinuations .But these are not very important .The most important is ”You should believe yourself ”. Even if it is a tiny belief .When you managed to cope with the difficulties. You will be happy to see that the sunshine is in front of you. Believe yourself ,your life will be more wonderful ;Believe yourself ,the new century is ours !两只青蛙一群青蛙在穿越树林时，突然其中两只失足落入一个深坑。
大家看到这个坑的深度时就对这两只青蛙说，他们只有死路一条了。
但是这两只青蛙全不理会同伴们的话，相反，他们使出全力以图跳出这个深坑。
青蛙们仍不停的奉劝他们算了，并坚持说他俩只有死路一条。
最后，其中一只青蛙听从了大家的劝告，放弃了。
于是，他掉下去死了；而另一只青蛙还竭尽全力的跳着。
众青蛙又一次向他大声提醒，奉劝他不要再自讨苦吃了，安息吧
谁知，他跳得更加卖力，终于他跳出来了
当他出来以后，大家问他：“你没听见我们的话吗
”这只青蛙解释说，他是个聋子，他还以为大家一直是在鼓励他呢
这则故事告诉我们： 人生并不是一帆风顺的，它充满了坎坷和曲折。
但是，这些并不重要，最重要的是你应该相信自己，哪怕只是一个小小的信念。
当你走完荆棘路时，阳光就在你脚下。
相信自己，你的生命会更精彩；相信自己，新的世纪属于我们

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. First I want to ask you some questions: 1、 Do you know what is youth? 2、 How do you master your youth? Youth Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job. Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future. How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.
