近日，TFBOYS组合成员王源作为中国青年代表，受邀赴纽约联合国总部出席联合国经社理事会2017青年论坛（ECOSOC Youth Forum 2017）。
会上，王源作了两分钟左右的英文发言，呼吁关注优质教育。
两分钟的全英文发言是王源自己提出的，本来他拿到的是一份中文稿，他自己觉得在联合国发言的话英文比较有诚意，每天抽出半个到一小时准备。
王源的发言，首先向世界展示了联合国在中国倡导的“畅想2030”活动取得的成果，并号召更多中国年轻人热心世界公益事务，表达中国青年为世界可持续发展和美好未来奋斗的决心。
王源在演讲中还谈到了自己参与联合国中国“畅想2030”活动时提交的一幅以“优质教育”为主题的漫画：“我提交了一幅漫画作品。
在这幅作品中，我设想到了2030年，教育将是平等、无歧视的，任何人，无论性别、肤色和国籍都有公平的机会接受教育，获取优质的教育资源。
优质教育是解决贫困问题、消除不平等的根本方法之一。
”
