Natural disasters are all taking place more often than not. So, is there no help at all? What can we do to slow down the pace of global-warming? First of all, we can use the clean energy which will not pollute the air , the ground or the sea. Some examples are the solar energy, the wind energy and the wave energy. Secondly, we can plant more trees . One way in which the tree can help is that it takes in carbon dioxide , a greenhouse gas, and releases oxygen instead. Isn't this killing two birds with one stone? Lastly, we can reduce the use of cars and walk instead. The cars let off exhaust gases and pollute the earth. If we use our legs instead, we can do our part on saving the earth and even exercise at the same time!

来到假山旁，我看到一个小弟弟乱扔垃圾，被一个清洁工阿姨看到了。
清洁工阿姨上前对小弟弟说：“小弟弟，不要乱扔垃圾。
”“这有什么呀
”“会污染环境的。
如果污染得严重的话，人类还会灭绝。
”“有这么严重吗
”“当然，地球是一个美丽的星球，可也是容易破碎的，我们应该好好保护......”我细细地听着，觉得阿姨讲得很有道理，我真希望这位小弟弟能改正。

--------------在我上学的路上要经过几个垃圾堆，这都是附近的居民乱扔垃圾造成的。
我经常看见上班的人们把垃圾顺手扔在路边，即使不远处有垃圾桶，他们也不愿多走那几步路，有的人甚至走到垃圾桶边，也不愿费举手之劳把垃圾丢进桶里，而是扔在外面。
吃完早餐的人把餐巾纸，塑料袋随手丢在路边。
即使清洁工人把路面刚清扫干静，把乱扔的垃圾堆铲除干净；即使路边写有‘不要乱扔垃圾’‘请把垃圾丢进桶里’等提示语，人们仍然我行我素，不一会儿，路边又有新的垃圾堆，路面上又被扔的满地都是。
晴天尘土飞扬；刮风时塑料袋漫天飞舞；雨天更是污水横流，臭气熏天。
我们都希望生活在一个干净美丽花园式的城市里，我们都希望在上班，上学的路上有一个好心情。
我提倡人们从自我做起，从小事做起，来保护环境。
让我们走在一条条干净整洁的马路吧

”然而在我们身边却有人随地乱扔垃圾。
这不仅破坏了环境，而且还成了一种陋习。
记得有一天下午，我刚买完面包走出面包房，见到了我们学校的一位男同学，只见他从商店走出来，手里抓着刚买的小食品。
没走下台阶的他左手拿着包装袋，右手轻轻一撕，包装随手一扔，便若无其事的边走边吃。
不一会儿，东西吃完了，他手拿袋子潇洒的向后一抛，就大摇大摆地走了。
然而，面包店的门口不远处就是垃圾筒呀
由此，我想到了我每天早晨上学路上，喝完奶后的第一件事便是一路走寻找垃圾桶。
看到垃圾桶后我就会把眼睛睁得大大的，手拿奶盒向垃圾桶一扔，奶盒就投向了垃圾桶的怀抱。
经过了三年的练习，我已经是一个百发百中的“灌篮高手”了。
“城市是我家，清洁靠大家。
”随着社会经济的迅速发展和城市人口的高度集中，生活垃圾的产量正在逐步增加，我们这个家园正被垃圾所包围。
有资料显示垃圾对人类危害有五方面：第一。
占地过多；第二，污染空气；第三，制造污水；第四，火灾隐患；第五，有害生物的巢穴。
而塑料袋在自然界停留的时间是100到200年，也就是说塑料袋的风化时间是100到200年的漫长时间啊
试想：随手一扔倒是方便了，但是却给清洁工增加了不必要的工作量，为什么不多走几步扔到垃圾桶里呢
如果我们每人都有环保意识，那么我们的城市会更洁净的。
反之，如果我们的家园就会被垃圾所包围的。
因此，我们要从身边的小事做起，不乱扔垃圾，做个环保小卫士
