I think it’s, you know, it’s one of those things that, you know, we’ll all remember where we were when we first heard about the twin towers in the same way that if you were alive at the time, you remember where you were when Elvis died, or when Princess Diana died

CNN) -- The text of President Bush's address Tuesday night, after terroristattacks on New York and Washington:Good evening.Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came underattack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts. The victims were in airplanes or in their offices -- secretaries, businessmenand women, military and federal workers. Moms and dads. Friends andneighbors.Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror. The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, hugestructures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and aquiet, unyielding anger. These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos andretreat. But they have failed. Our country is strong. A great people has beenmoved to defend a great nation.Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, butthey cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, butthey cannot dent the steel of American resolve.America was targeted for attack because we're the brightest beacon forfreedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep that light fromshining.Today, our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature, and we respondedwith the best of America, with the daring of our rescue workers, with thecaring for strangers and neighbors who came to give blood and help in any waythey could.Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our government'semergency response plans. Our military is powerful, and it's prepared. Ouremergency teams are working in New York City and Washington, D.C., to helpwith local rescue efforts. Our first priority is to get help to those who have been injured and to takeevery precaution to protect our citizens at home and around the world fromfurther attacks. The functions of our government continue without interruption. Federalagencies in Washington which had to be evacuated today are reopening foressential personnel tonight and will be open for business tomorrow. Our financial institutions remain strong, and the American economy will beopen for business as well. The search is underway for those who are behind these evil acts. I'vedirected the full resources for our intelligence and law enforcementcommunities to find those responsible and bring them to justice. We will makeno distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those whoharbor them.I appreciate so very much the members of Congress who have joined me instrongly condemning these attacks. And on behalf of the American people, Ithank the many world leaders who have called to offer their condolences andassistance.America and our friends and allies join with all those who want peace andsecurity in the world and we stand together to win the war against terrorism.Tonight I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the childrenwhose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and securityhas been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greaterthan any of us spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: Even though I walkthrough the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are withme. This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolvefor justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will doso this time.None of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom andall that is good and just in our world.Thank you. Good night and God bless America.

The heroic rescue behavior of 9· 11 after incident happening firefighters received universal praise from all walks of life, New York City Fire Department said, they released some recordings, described before the Twin Towers north tower collapsed firefighters rescue dozens of minutes in the interior of the case. The firemen disobedience to rescue the New York City Fire Department, a man named Josh staff told reporters, New York city fire department should the court request these data reveal to the public, these data further shows the bravery firefighters in the rescue, the fire in the order received back 100 pounds of fire extinguisher fire upstairs. According to the introduction, in the rescue operation, a total of 343 firefighters were killed, one in the north building is about 200. These firemen to the building still into the implementation of the rescue own life-threatening in consciousness, despite the require evacuation orders, many firefighters or stay. I do not know the building will collapse despite the fireman 's heroics in the rescue, but there are still some problems that can not be ignored, first of all, many firefighters upstairs fire rescue time doesn't know North building will collapse, because when they came into the floor of the south tower still stands there, and there is no sign of the collapse. In addition, the firemen 's communication with the outside world there are problems. After many firefighters into the floor, don't know the entire floor, interview in the escape of 58 successful firefighters found, of which only 4 of people said they knew the south tower collapsed, and another three people said they heard the radio warned North building will collapse. There are also some firemen heard demanded the withdrawal of the command, but they do not know that this is to let them out of order. A fireman said in an interview: I do not believe the Twin Towers will collapse. The rescue effect these disclosure data show, not a lot of things happened in the Twin Towers in the morning of September 11, 2001 so simple, in fact, many firefighters also wonder they participate in the rescue can play a great role, to know the plane crash is the Twin Towers executives, climbing so high is several hours. In fact, when the south tower collapsed, many firefighters have entered the North Building of about an hour, this time they just climbed thirty layers from being hit, where there is a very long distance. In this case, enter the building to rescue the sense is not great, but to be able to hear the command fire is not much inside the building. Some firefighters also think so, if the Twin Towers an hour later collapsed, then there may be 1000 firefighters upstairs, if delayed three hours to collapse, there may be 10000 firefighters into the building, the loss will be more serious. In fact, even Twin Towers does not collapse, from the bottom up to hit the floor at least four hours, a firefighter or lament: in fact and firefighters who work at Twin Towers 's general staff as useless, we have no chance to fire, and we enter the building task is fire.

On this 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, we remember that 9\\\/11 was not only an attack on the United States, it was an attack on the world and on the humanity and hopes that we share. We remember that among the nearly 3,000 innocent people lost that day were hundreds of citizens from more than 90 nations. They were men and women, young and old, of many races and faiths. On this solemn anniversary we join with their families and nations in honoring their memory. We remember with gratitude how ten years ago the world came together as one. Around the globe, entire cities came to a standstill for moments of silence. People offered their prayers in churches, mosques, synagogues and other places of worship. And those of us in the United States will never forget how people in every corner of the world stood with us in solidarity in candlelight vigils and among the seas of flowers placed at our embassies. We remember that in the weeks after 9\\\/11, we acted as an international community. As part of a broad coalition, we drove al Qaeda from its training camps in Afghanistan, toppled the Taliban, and gave the Afghan people a chance to live free from terror. However, the years that followed were difficult and the spirit of global partnership we felt after 9\\\/11 frayed. As President, I’ve worked to renew the global cooperation we need to meet the full breadth of global challenges that we face. Through a new era of engagement, we’ve forged partnerships with nations and peoples based on mutual interest and mutual respect. As an international community, we have shown that terrorists are no match for the strength and resilience of our citizens. I’ve made it clear that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Rather, with allies and partners we are united against al Qaeda, which has attacked dozens of countries and killed tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children—the vast majority of them Muslims. This week, we remember all the victims of al Qaeda and the courage and resilience with which their families and fellow citizens have persevered, from the Middle East to Europe, from Africa to Asia. Working together, we have disrupted al Qaeda plots, eliminated Osama bin Laden and much of his leadership, and put al Qaeda on the path to defeat. Meanwhile, people across the Middle East and North Africa are showing that the surest path to justice and dignity is the moral force of nonviolence, not mindless terrorism and violence. It is clear that violent extremists are being left behind and that the future belongs to those who want to build, not destroy. To nations and people seeking a future of peace and prosperity—you have a partner in the United States. For even as we confront economic challenges at home, the United States will continue to play a unique leadership role in the world. As we remove the rest of our troops from Iraq and transfer responsibility in Afghanistan, we will support Iraqis and Afghans in their efforts to deliver security and opportunity for their people. In the Arab world and beyond, we will stand up for the dignity and universal rights of all human beings. Around the world, we will continue the hard work of pursuing peace, promoting the development that lifts people from poverty, and advancing the food security, health and good governance that unleashes the potential of citizens and societies. At the same time, we have recommitted ourselves to living our values at home. As a nation of immigrants, the United States welcomes people from every country and culture. These newest Americans—like all the innocent victims we lost ten years ago—remind us that despite any differences of race or ethnicity, background or belief, we are all bound together by the common hope that we can make the world a better place for this and future generations. That must be the legacy of those we have lost. Those who attacked us on 9\\\/11 wanted to drive a wedge between the United States and the world. They failed. On this 10th anniversary, we are united with our friends and partners in remembering all those we have lost in this struggle. In their memory, we reaffirm the spirit of partnership and mutual respect that we need to realize a world where all people live in dignity, freedom and peace.

One day, I wake up from this horrible dream. This guy was in our basement and so were my parents. (this is my dream I'm telling you about) I didn't know who the guy was, but he starts shriveling up and his skin turns green. Then it starts flaking off. Everyone was screaming. Then a voice comes out of nowhere and says Hello, Kyle. Then this guy comes out of nowhere and starts chasing me. We do a couple rounds of the house, then we enter our basement again. then we come out and I run into my room and behind the door, but not closing it. He was way behind and thought I went into the upstairs. I run out the basement door outside and to our neighbors house. I then call 911. That's when I wake up. I was so scared my heart was beating 200 miles an hour. I couldn't move. Then I practically fainted into my sleep after about three hours just sitting there unmoving and stiff. I've had a lot of horror dreams before, but none as intense as this one.

Not a Chance to RegretA short while ago when life was simple and all that mattered was friends and having fun. There were two sisters that lived life just as gracefully as possible. There names were Carlie and Mary Jane they were liked by everyone but something just wasn't right. Carlie and Mary Jane were both cheerleaders and loved it with a passion. But one day the unexpected happened. The sisters that were always the best of friends weren't so close and Mary Jane started arguing with her mom and little things like that. Well one day it just got out of hand the arguing and yelling. M.J. and her mom were going to cheerleading practice and were going at it pretty bad and her mom said the most hurtful thing to her Mary Jane i can't believe the person you've become i want you out of my house and my life. Those words pierced her heart so hard and so fast that she just plunged out of the car and down an embankment her mom stopped on a dime, yelling and praying she was okay. The car that was behind her saw the whole thing and happened to be a pastor, he got out and ran down the hill to find M.j.'s mom lying there holding her daughter helplessly yelling and screaming for her daughter to wake up I love u sweetie wake up GOD PLEASE let her wake up i love her don't take her from me i need her god PLEASE. The pastor walked over and called 911 and he began to pray, Dear lord watch over this young lady bring her back we need her here don't take her away just yet. well the ambulance came and so did the helicopter they knew there was something seriously wrong. M.J.'s mom Gabrielle called Carlie from the hospital and had her rush right over. Carlie arrived and didn't even recognize her dear sister, so pale and bruised and filled with aggone her eyes began to water up. Then she asked Is she gonna be okay. the doctor replied, Carlie your sister is on life support and is unconscious the odds aren't good. Poor Carlie dropped to her knees and begged for her sister to wake up and be okay. M.J. I need you want you here you gotta cheer with me be my brides maid at my wedding, throw me a baby shower when I'm expecting, M.J. its to soon don't go please i love you. and right then Mary Jane took her last breath. Word traveled fast and everyone was devastated friends, family, and even complete strangers. Mary Jane will always be remembered and loved. But you never know when its your time to go so try and be the best person you can be and don't do something in the heat of the moment you might not get a chance to regret it.
