It also fits when two forces counteract in one line with the same strength but contrary directions. One plus one can also be one, when the first two “one” s are complementary or the two can react to each other. For example, “a” husband and “a” wife form “a” family. Or if you put a cat with a fish, there would only be “one” cat left. One plus one is of course two, but just when the two “one” s are regarded completely the same. What is one apple plus one apple? Definitely two apples! In the same way, one man plus one woman equals two persons. Here, the “man” and the “woman” are sharing the same character—human beings. One plus one could be three, be four, be five, six, seven, eight, etc. And its result could even be too large to count. Something happened recently could prove the conclusion. In the fighting against the earthquake which happened in May 12th, our army, our people were rescuing others’ lives in the risk of losing their owns. Another example, if you fall in love with somebody, one love id lonely. But what if he or she loves you too? Now, two love is complete. You love plus the other love is all. You see?
