这次我很荣幸能站在讲台上进行英语科代表的竞选。
这次，我要通过我的努力，成为老师的助手，同学的榜样，我相信我一定能竞选上英语科代表这个职务。
一个人最可怜的是无知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。
不管我竞选成功与否，我都会让自私、无知与我无缘。
只有那一股子拼劲，为大家，为班级做事。
我在每次的英语考试中都能达到95分以上，成绩很不错，此外，我有着强烈的责任心，有丰富的经验，可以帮助老师做一些力所能及的事。
如果我竞选成功，我一定会全心全意地为同学服务。
每天早上，我会带领同学们进行早读，并把同学的作业收齐。
在课上，我会带头积极举手发言;课下，如果有同学来问我不会的题，我也一定会耐心爽快地回答。
如果遇到了一些难题，我会组织其他的同学共同探讨，并寻求老师的帮助。
正因为如此，我有信心做好一名英语科代表。
假如我落选了，我也不会伤心，因为那说明我还有许多缺点，我将继续自我完善，因为每一个失败都会提醒我下次努力。

我终于找到了失败的原因。
于是在以后的各种考试以及竞赛中，我都时时刻刻提醒自己：“不要骄傲，要沉着。
” 在“失败乃成功之母”这句名言的鞭策下，奥赛的“实战”中我并没有骄傲，而是沉着地对待，结果取得了第二名的好成绩，我欣喜若狂，成功的喜悦使我兴奋，给我鼓舞。
是啊，“失败乃成功之母”这句名言说得很对。
可是失败后并不是就能获得成功，而是失败后你要去认真反思，找出你失败的原因，再去改正它。
这样，这次的“失败”才会是下一次的“成功之母”。
在我以后的人生道路上还会有失败，但是我的座右铭：“失败乃成功之母”将永远启示我，激励我继续往科学的高峰攀登。
