半年后的高考，儿子获得了前所未有的成功，北京的一所重点大学录取了他，他从此踏上了人生的正轨。

读书是传承文明的桥梁，是延续文化的中介。
充实而有意义的人生，应该伴随着读书而发展。
他说，综观世界各国，凡是崇尚读书的民族，大多是生命力顽强的民族。
全世界读书最多的民族是犹太族，平均每人每年读书64本。
酷爱读书，使犹太人在亡国两千年之后，又能重新复国（以色列）的重要原因；酷爱读书，使犹太人在复国之后，能迅速建成一个现代化国家的重要原因；酷爱读书，使犹太人在流离失所中诞生了马克思、爱因斯坦和门德尔松等无数杰出的思想家、科学家和艺术家的重要原因；酷爱读书，使犹太人不仅在全世界的富豪中名列前茅，而且在历届诺贝尔奖得主中也有惊人比例的重要原因。

而我们中国，自古以来就是一个崇尚读书，热爱读书的民族。
只是随着科举制度的出现，读书人的阅读视野狭窄化了。
现在的应试教育，也在很大程度上挤兑了学生读书的空间。
学生无暇读书、不想读书的情形也不少见。
除了一大摞教科书外，学生几乎不再有、也不再读其他的书。
这就使他们的精神世界逐渐荒漠，人生色彩逐渐暗淡。
不仅是学生，整个中国国民读书状况也成问题。
据2003年调查，目前中国国民保持读书习惯的仅占5%。
在识字人群中能够做到平均每月读一本书的仅占51%。
在中国识字家庭中61%有藏书，而韩国1995年96%的家庭有藏书，500本以内达93%。
从总趋势看，中国国民阅读率呈下降趋势。
这个状况令人担忧。
读书改变人生，这是因为读书能改变人的气质，提高人的素质和能力。
包括政治素质，如政治理想、理论修养、世界观、价值观；业务素质，如业务能力、技术水平、组织能力、表达能力等；还有道德素质，如思想品格、道德修养，人格力量等。
还因为读书是学会做事、学会做人的重要途径。
人的一生都要学习，既要学习科学知识，又要学习社会学问。
科学知识是用来处理人与自然的关系，而社会学问则用来处理人与人的关系。
不论你将来从事什么样的工作，都必须不停顿地进行这两种不同性质的学习。
不仅要学会做事，而且要学会做人，这样才能在社会上始终处于主动地位。
读书提高了业务能力、组织能力、技术水平及表达能力，当然对学会做事大有好处了。
读点学会做人的书，借鉴别人人生的经验，就好像使自己重新活了一遍。
人生的课题是一个永恒的课题，是每个人的必修课程，是最最重要的课程。
所谓“世事洞明皆学问，人情练达即文章”正是这个意思。

人生观是可以选择的。

不同的选择表现出不同的人生态度，体现着不同的人生观。
人生就是这样，面对种种选择，有的人选择了勇敢，有的人选择了懦弱；有的人选择了伟大，有的人选择了渺小；有的人选择了高尚，有的人选择了卑劣。
从个人角度来说，在人与社会的关系中，人既是客体，又是主体。
作为客体，人对社会尽义务作贡献具有社会价值。
作为主体，在改造社会自然的过程中，又要实现自身价值。

当时我认为这种宣传主旋律的书一定是深涩难懂，看起来一定很枯燥乏味。

这本书主要介绍了什么是社会主义核心价值观，本文是从理想信念、、忠诚爱国、以人为本、、和谐文明、敬业奉献、团结互助、诚实守信、宽厚兼容、求真务实、改革创新12个方面共用了100个例子来向我们介绍社会主义核心价值观和充分体现了社会主义核心价值观的重要性…… 社会主义核心价值观，是指人们对社会主义价值的性质、构成、标准和评价的根本看法和态度，是人们从主体的需要和个体能否满意主体的需要以及如何满足主体需要的角度，考察和评价各种物质的、精神的景象及主体的行为对个人、无产阶级阶级、社会主义社会的意义。
社会主义核心价值观，可以凝结人心。
必须树立、以爱国主义为核心的民族精神和以改革创新为核心的、以“八荣八耻”为主要内容的。
在的故事里面，我感受到了理想信念的巨大力量。
这个故事给予了我无穷的动力，在我困难时克服一切困难。
我知道是一个知识渊博的人，他的知识领域包括哲学、经济学、法学、宗教学、逻辑学、美学、政治学、文学，他能阅读欧洲许多国家的文字，能用德、法、英三种文字写作，我想如果没有强大的理想信念做支撑，早就放弃了艰苦的写作工作，转行做别的工作来改善生活条件了，而不是不惜流亡海外也要完成旷世巨作。
这足以见他坚强的决心了。
今天，有中国特色主义核心价值观的内容是：“弘扬爱国主义、提倡荣辱观、以人为本、发展生产力、实现共产主义”。
在这一思想体系中，弘扬爱国主义是前提与核心，提倡荣辱观是最新教育方式、以人为本是主体、发展生产力是手段、实现共产主义是最终目标。

认为，爱国主义是千百年来巩固起来的对自己祖国的一种最深厚的感情。
这里所爱之国指的是作为祖国的国家。
