Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.从某种意义上说，我们来到国家的首都是为了兑现一张支票。

This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. 我的答案很简单，前面干出一番事业，是为了后面安逸的生活。
我不希望我自己花一辈子时间去冒险，去打拚。
干事业，也是为了满足自己的野心，不过，我的野心还没有大到搞商业垄断的地步。
追求安逸，不正是生活的最高境界吗
无忧无虑没有干扰的生活，还可以最大限度地接济穷人们。
