Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is xxx, I`m very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts about fortune and love. Fortune and Love Fortune and love are like twins with different characters. To people, they cannot tall the differences between them. When you are abandoned by love, you maybe drunk for three days, and cry for three days .What’s more, it will leave you a forever pain. But when you are abandoned by fortune, you maybe just sigh for one day, and recover from it soon, and then you will spend another day in searching for new fortune. The differences between love and fortune are: fortune means two people and one world, but love means that two people is the world. For fortune, one plus one equals two, however for love, one plus one equals one. We always struggle for fortune while ignore love. In fact, what we can truly grasp is love. Fortune does not belong to anyone; it is only from one master's pocket to another master's hands. If you need it, you can get what you want through various means. However, love is not. As Christian said, whether rich or poor、whether smooth or frustration , Love will accompany you forever never leave you alone. Love, do not pray how other people treat you; however, try to pay a sincere heart first. Some people say, fortune is a unit of distance which can not across. Also, some people say, fortune is a temptation which you are powerless to resist. In their view, fortune just like Satan, which dust the eyes of human nature. Of course, each cup of excessive alcohol is venom made by devil; a little more greed is the executioner of happiness. However, it can not be denied that because of the reality, everyone wants to have a good life than others. Courting fame and fortune is not your fault, what’s wrong is that your pursuit is too much. In one’s life, love should be the hero, but the fact is that, some people’s life is full of love, while some people always miss love. If we have a sincere heart, we must be able to pile up the scattered love and make a great life. But if you just struggle for fortune everyday and never meet, you will miss love in the future. So, don’t treat fortune as love. Don’t lose true love of one and don’t hurt your true friends. That’s all. Thank you very much.

My career dream---professional photographerIf you'd like to consider photography as something more than just a creative outlet or a hobby you may be on your way to discovering a new career path, one which will come with respect, a monetary reward and allow you to have an occupation were the line between work and play is blurred. This is not to say that becoming a photographer is easy, nor is it to say that all people who want to become professional photographers will attain their goal. The photography industry is cutthroat and competitive. There are more people who want to become world renowned photographers than there are spaces to fill. The result is that, those who want to fill those spots, or even just become successful at photography on a local level are going to need to have immense creativity and business acumen like no other.Becoming a working professional photographer has to do with one main element; Becoming recognized in the field. People just don't buy your art; they also buy your credentials. In a sense, their buying what you represent. Often those things you represent will be of intrinsic value to your customer. Such as who've you've worked with in the past, where you've been published, how long you've been a photographer, where you've traveled to do work and so on.You will also want to get as much education under your belt as possible. Throughout your education as a photographer you should also be taking as many photographs as possible to help build your portfolio. You will need to ensure your photography portfolio stands above the rest by paying extra special attending to detail. Look at the book itself, the paper it's printed on, the font of descriptions, your boarders, your themes, picture sizes, colors, layout and so on. Do not simply fill a scrap book or photo album with photographs. Once finished, you should be able to walk away from your portfolio and be impressed with your own work (which is no easy task for any photographer, many of whom are their own worst critics).You should also start looking around for assistant or internship work. Often this work doesn't pay well (if at all) but it will help you learn more about the industry and art. You should try and work under the most respected photographers you can find. By doing this you are adding to your credentials without knowing it. You want to only surround yourself with the best and present your best side all of the time.You will also need to have a strong sense of business acumen. If you are planning on being like the 50% of other photographers who are self employed, you'll need to make sure you have a good sense of networking skills, pricing, public relations knowledge and on top of that have a strong sense of creativity and imagination. Being an artist and a business person will be no small feat. It will have you on your toes at all times.Lastly, you'll want to narrow your professional interest to one or two main fields. For example you may want to work with press and other media, or you may be interested in photojournalism. Others may be interested in scientific or sports photography. Whatever your interest is, make sure you find the best people in that particular industry and study them. Model your success after theirs.Remember, nothing worth while comes easy. There will be many nights when you think to yourself what am I doing. Stick with it and there will be a payoff at the end of the tunnel. Most importantly, enjoy your whole journey. The success at the end wouldn't be as welcome if there wasn't the struggle at the beginning. Best of luck

We will have thousands of visitors here in our hometown, then how should we show our manners? Of course, all of us prefer to show our good manners, so we should pay attention to our daily customs, China is a traditional country with a long history. The young should show our Chinese culture and good manners to the world .I t is easy to say than to do ,most of us didn’t pay enough attention to “seven don’ts” sometimes they throw rubbish everywhere ,cross the road when the light is red .Although they know these behavirous are not good ,they still do it .I hope everyone of us can take part in this social practice .We should carry ourselves well ,respect our teachers and so on ,try to show our best menners to the world .I think ,we should follow the next three points in our daily life :First :Keep our clothes clean and neat ,too much make up looks unnatural for us .Second :We should obey the old saying “See no evil ,hear no evil ,speak no evil .”Third :We should be polite to others ,especially to the foreigners .When the Expo comes ,there will be a lot of foreigners ,we can show friendliness to them ,we can show the way to them ,say “hello “to them ,and I think our smiling faces are also necessary .Show good manners to welcome the 2010 Expo .Are you ready ?That’s all .Thank you . 这是和2010年世博会有关的，是我们中学生身边的国家大事，应给很贴近生活。

good morning! Today, my speech is Green Olgmpics are not a dream is one of the Three Themes of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Therefore the Beijing government had made a great effort in order to protect the environment, build more Green project, keep the ecological balance, push the recycling economy, and protect the water resource. But if only the government take the action to realize the Green Olympics in 2008, it's not enough. As a Beijing high school student, we should play an active role in the actions aimed at the realization of Green Olympics. So we should start it from ourselves, our family, our friends and other people around us. In 2001, in the Moscow world trade center, when the former chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Samaranch had said: Beijing, China! As a Beijing citizen, as a Chinese, I had a great joy for my city, for my home country from the bottom of my heart! But after the excitement that Beijing had been succeed in the race to host the Olympic Game in 2008. I started to worry about the dusty air, the sandstorm, the polluted rivers and lakes; the streets without any green and whether we could successfully host the Olympic Games in 2008. Four years later, today, we can see 229 day blue sky in one year, we can hardly catch a glimpse of the sandstorm, groups of wild duck comes back to Shishahai Lake in the spring, and all the streets are dressed in green. All these make me deeply believe that Beijing will surely succeed in 2008! And all these achievements are not only the result that made by the Beijing government, but also by the 14 millions Beijing citizens. As one of the 14 millions normal citizens, I am also adding my contribution to our Green Olympic! I used to have a habit, which is to take two longtime showers every day. It was a big waste of water. One day, I saw a piece of news in Beijing Daily that about the lack of the Beijing water resource. It's said every year Beijing use up about 3.7 billions cubic meter of water. But Miyun reservoir only contains 0.77 billions cubic meter of water, and Guanting reservoir only contains 0.19 billion cubic meter of water. This shows we are really short of water now! After reading this news, I start to change my habit, and only take one quick shower each day. I have calculated that if everyone economizes one cubic meter of water during they are taking the shower in a month; the Beijing citizens will economize 14 million cubic meter of water in only one month! In 2004, as the Beijing Irrigation Apartment reported that since 2001 Beijing has succeeded in the application of hosting the Olympic game in 2008. Beijing government had started 26 programs in order to economize the water resource. After 3 years doing this, these programs have saved 0.437 billions cubic meter of water. It's as big as a four-sized Huairou reservoir! And now, in my daily life, in my family, we always think about protecting the environment and saving the resource whenever we doing what. The batteries, the aged newspapers, the empty glass bottles and all the recyclable garbage, we will classify them then put them in different trash cans; we make the most use of the nature light and shut off the electrical light conveniently; and when we shopping, we will bring a nylon bag with us instead of plastic bags; during the feast, I do not send any card in order to protect the forest resource; after washing the clothes, we won't dump the used water but use it to flash the toilet… All in all, we should start from every little thing around us to truly realize the Green Olympic. I still remember clearly that in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, when Liu Xiang stood up on the award platform, he was wearing a coronet, which made by olive branch. Does this green olive branch stand for the Green Olympic? Olive branch is the symbol of peace, and the Olympic Game is the carrier of the peace. We should not just simply think, No war is the meaning of peace. Nature and human beings living in harmony is also the root meaning of peace. Save the resource, protect the environment, this kind action of pursuing Nature and human beings living in harmony, is the way that shows the core of the Olympian spirit. So we say, peace is the spirit of Olympic, Olympic is the carrier of peace, and Green Olympic means that we are standing in a higher platform to seek the peace. So the Green Olympic should be started from every little things in our daily life, start form me, from the people that around me. Express the spirit of Olympic, publicize the theme of Green Olympic, and let Beijing really reaches the Green Olympic in 2008. This is the responsibility of anyone who loves peace. And it is also the responsibility of our Beijing high school students! Thank you! 呵呵
