珍惜每一寸土地，留住我们的根 (演讲稿) 当写下这一题目,使我想起一件很有感触的事: 在日本，小学的第一节地理课上，老师给孩子们的就是一种无情的警告：“日本是一个人多地少、资源匮乏的岛国，我们必须珍惜每一寸土地，并且要创造超人一筹的高技术，赢得超人一筹的高效益，这样，日本民族才可能在这个世界上生存下去。
” 而在我们中国，也许到了大学毕业，也许没有哪个师长向他们交待中国真实的家底。
曾经多少年以前，我们对小学的国情教育一直是高枕无忧的：“中国拥有九百六十万平方公里的土地，国土占世界第三位，她地大物博，人口众多，是个美丽富饶的国家……”其实是否真的“美丽富饶”?今天看来确实让人感慨万端······ 自“盘古开天”到“女娲造人”，就在昭示着这样一个亘古不变的道理：人源于土，人离不开土。
据《名山县志》记载：“土地，社神也。
村巷处处奉之，或石室，或木房，有不塑像者，也以木板长尺许、宽二寸，题其主曰某土地。

随着科技的不断进步，社会的迅猛发展和人类利益的过于追求，大到国家之间的土地掠夺，种族之间的相互杀戮，小到“超工业化企业”的应运而生，“超大规模城市”如雨后春笋，城市垃圾堆积如山，工厂污水恶意排放，楼堂馆所重复建设······从而对土地盲目性的侵占、开垦、滥伐和污染，便很快导致土地锐减甚至日益沙漠化，良田荒芜甚至五谷绝收，这使得本来山青水秀，地美土沃的菁菁家园变得满目疮痍，不堪载重，生态严重失衡
据联合国环境署的调查研究表明，仅人类大规模的破坏森林这一项行为，便使全世界每年流失土壤达250亿吨
就我国的生态环境也确实令人担心，南方发大水、北方沙尘暴，西部泥石流、东海泛赤潮。
尤其因环境破坏而导致水土的流失更是给人留下惨痛教训：每年流失的土壤高达50亿吨，相当于全国的耕地每年损失1厘米厚的土壤。
而科学研究表明，要自然形成1厘米厚的土壤，则需要400年的时间
再谈我们的赖以生存的母亲河——黄河，每年流失的泥沙量竟成了世界之冠：达16亿吨
科学测算，如果把黄河带走的泥沙堆成高宽各1米的堤坝，能绕地球23圈，大量的宝贵土壤资源，就这样白白流走了
难怪美国《2000年的地球》主编巴尼博士，发出这样由衷的感叹：“黄河流走的不是水，而是中华民族的血啊
” 再看我们对土地人为的侵占与破坏情形更是令人发指了：国家土地局通过调查,就广东省一年这内干部曾违法占地建私房达3万多名，平均每个干部占地110平方米，竟是乡镇非农业户口每户建房用地标准的两倍。
江西省违法超占土地的干部，占党政干部建私房总数的94％。
湖南省108个县、市、区，竟有102个查出有干部违法占地建私房的问题等等。
但一个不争的事实就是，当今中国人均仅的耕地只占世界的7％，而这7％的耕地不仅一再减少却还硬养活了占全世界22％的人口
为了让每一个中国公民珍惜人均仅有的1.3亩耕地，早在1991年，国务院就决定，把每年的6月25日，确定为全国土地日。
每一年的“土地日”都有一个很简洁而富有时代内涵的主题，从1991年的土地与国情到1992年的土地与改革从再相继的土地与经济、市场、法制、发展、国家、未来等等一直到今年节约集约用地，坚守耕地红线，人们应该显然地看到，国家对土地的保护与管理已经达到一种至高无上的要求。
因为“红线”就是一种不可逾越的界线
因为眼前的惨痛教训已经让我们深深感悟到人与自然、人与土地的和谐是何等重要
莎士比亚说得好：“错的不是我们的生辰八字，而是我们自己。
”这句深刻的话也不得不引起我们深刻地反思
记得诗人艾青曾写过一首特别让人感动的诗《我爱这土地》：假如我是一只鸟\\\/我也应该用嘶哑的喉咙歌唱：\\\/这被暴风雨所打击着的土地，\\\/这永远汹涌着我们的悲愤的河流，\\\/这无止息地吹刮着的激怒的风，\\\/和那来自林间的无比温柔的黎明......\\\/——然后我死了，\\\/连羽毛也腐烂在土地里面。
\\\/为什么我的眼里常含泪水
