Ladies and gentilemen: Good morning. my name is XXX. It's an honour to stand here to give my speech, today my topic is - A mistake i will never repeat. When i was a freshman, as most of students, i had more free time and fewer examnations, so after class, i felt like making friends with strenfers in the college, such as someone around me or people who were friends of my classmates and so on. Maybe it's magic, i met such a boy when i was a sophomore, he made me feel warm and safe. I think we really have a nice relationship just like lovers at that time. But some days later, i heard someone were talking, they said that he likes me, maybe it's love, then more and more people said like that. I felt nervous though he was cute in my eyes, i may hurt badly a voice read in my heart, and it became stronger and stronger. I was escaping.,escaping, and i didn't know what to do everyday, i had no courage to face this thing untill i found that i cann't forget him. I decided to study hard and have more courage than before just did like what he ever said, i made a clear goal and form certain principles in my life. whether he likes me or not, i think i wanna be more enriched because i know what i need. I won't repeat that mistake again. I often tell myself: my future will start here. Folowing i'll learn to becamean integrated girl, who has a fine body, can take an important task; has the independent thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, then have a job. that's my job. Not a rose, but the scent of the rose; not the skym but the light in the sky; not the sea, but the sound of the sea. So i won't feel force of the wind, the fiash of the rain, just go face them and fight them. Be savage again, go hungry and cold like a wolf. The palms of my hands will thicken, the skin of my cheeks will tan, but i will walk like a big girl. I still remember: if a person in youth donesn't do his best, he will feel very sorry when he is old; and where there is a will, there is a way. I will make great efforts to bring into effect, because i know that my future isn't just a dream. I believe i can and i must have a broad future and a bright life.Thank .
