老师们，同学们： 大家好，今天我演讲的题目是《做一个文明之人》。
记得有人说过：“人，一撇一捺，写起来容易做起来难。
我们要经常性地思考，我在做什么，我做得怎么，我要成为怎么的人。
”做怎样的人，每个人自己的答案，但在每一个答案的背后都有一个基点，那就是做人首先要做一个文明的人。
文明是什么
它是一种道德修养，是一种精神品质，是一种受人尊重并被大家广泛推崇的行为。
那么作为学生的我们请扪心自问，我们做到了“文明”吗
校园内，粗话脏话四处飘荡，追逐打闹的现象比比皆是，白色垃圾随处可见。
社会中，奇装异服“争奇斗艳”，催棒攀比风靡成流，损坏公务习以为常。
我们很多同学把文化知识的学习放在首位而唱唱忽略了社会公德，文明习惯的养成，而这恰恰从本质上体现一个人的思想品质。
事实上，良好的行为习惯是保证我们良好学习的前提，也是树立健康人格的基础。
现实中，太多的学生和家长埋怨学校的风气不正，尤其是我们二中，在社会中的名声很差，导致家长对学校的不信任和学生的鄙弃。
殊不知：一个学校的学生具有良好的文明行为习惯，才能构建出优良的学习环境，创造出优良的学习成绩。
现在，我们正处于人生中最关键的探索时期，在这个时期的所作所为，将潜移默化的影响到我们自身的心理素质，同时也完善了自身的道德品质，如果我们不在此时，抓好自身的道德素质建设，那我们纵然拥有了丰富的科学文化知识，于人于己于社会又有何用呢
所以，我们应该先成人，后成才，不要做一部单纯掌握一些知识技能的机器，而要成为一个身心和谐发展的人。
文明就是我们素质的前沿，拥有文明，我们就拥有了世界上最为宝贵的精神财富。
其实，做文明之人并不难：随手捡起校园内的一片纸屑，将其扔进垃圾桶是文明之举；嘴角微微上扬，轻声道句“你好”是文明之语；团结同学，互帮互助，以双赢创未来是文明之行。
做到这些，你就是一个品行高尚的文明之人，不要以为一个人的言行微不足道，一滴水不能改变旱情，但无数滴水却能形成海洋……只要人人都尽自己的一份努力，就会有一个和谐的社会。
泱泱中华，几千年的文化，孕育着十三亿中华儿女，是与非，荣与辱，泾渭分明。
忆往昔，文明古国荣称犹在；看今朝，恶行陋习愈发风靡；望未来，礼仪之邦雄风重振。
让我们奏响时代的最强音，反对粗俗，牢记谦恭，争做讲文明，守礼仪的中学生。

My father was born into a peasant’s family.In 1978, when a flow of talent appeared because of the reform and opening-up,he was admitted into the university and came to the city from the countryside.In 1990, I was born and bought up in Wuhan,the capital city ,which has a population of 8 million and an area of 3000 square kilometers . In 2002, Premier Zhu RJ gave his evaluation to Wuhan: Wuhan is the largest villagein rural areas in China.In geographical changes from countryside to city,my father and I went through different growth courses . In the rural concept confusion with urban and controversy,I seek for the value of the city and what the city brings to us with the other citizens of the city .Our ways of life are based on environment,so we have a fast-paced life in this city. You can't see McDonald's in rural areas, but in urban areas, you can see many people walking quickly with breakfast-food in their hands .Free life timetable has become one of the most luxurious things and even too -far-away dream that thay can’t realize for city people.Under the control of the work timetable,we have no chance to enjoy the sunset at the top of the hill,for we can stand on a crowed bus,waiting for the bus to arrive at the destination anxiously and habitaually. In a way, what a person owns comes from what the environment offers.Cities offere us different kinds of opportunities. I worship Deng Xiaoping because China's reform and opening- up have brought more opportunities. Most of these opportunities are facing major cities in China. I graduated from the Wuhan Foreign Languages School,whose school motto is: Approaching to the world and the future from here. It is the city that provides us with a train bound for the world. It is the most modern ,the most advanced and the nearest place to the world. Living in the city, we have to accept the influence of the atmosphere of the city. Someone’s view depends on height;in return,it is decided by the height. In the information age, the spread of culture, economy, scientific and technical information has influenced our thoughts every day .A broader perspective not only means that we know more ,but also that we are more potential.The potenial is the ability to accept new things.What the increasing urban population has brought is increasingly fierce competitions,and in this way the city has trained our sense of competition,a fighting spirit and desire to pursue under this pressure.And these are motivations that an individual needs to improve him\\\/herself.They have also enhanced the city. Since Premier Zhu RJ criticized Wuhan seriously in 2002, Wuhan has been marching into a real city step by step under this pressure . Wuhan on march has become our example .Although there are still many gaps and shortcomings, at least we are trying our best.The modernization of the city reflects living material conditions to the greatest degree.As a medical student, I need to emphasize that although obviously there are more diseases,particularly new-typed diseases in the city than in the countryside as a result of radiation , pollution, poor air quality, lack of exercise and other factors, the state of health of people is still better in the city than in the countryside.The main reason is the improvement of the city's health care system and the enhance of the sense ofcare of the residents.The practical reflection of educational, economic,even life advantages has enhanced the superiority of city’s medical care. Cities have brought us modern ,convenient and efficient ways of life , all kinds of opportunities available to people as well.At the same time ,they have also brought endless challenges. With a broad perspective and full sense of competition ,we can find the position that belongs to us because cities have brought us a better life
