Because the scenery of grasslands is very beautiful and people can enjoy much from grasslands. On this point I am lucky. More fortunately, it was on Sept 2004 that I came to School of Law Tsinghua University to study for a Jury Master .From then on, I enjoyed Beijing better and was determined to work and then settle down in Beijing after my graduation.The competition in Beijing is considerably fiece and I am very clear it is quite difficult to settle down in Beijing, but I will try my best to achieve my goal. Then maybe someone will ask me why I hold such strong determination on it. The answer just lies Beijing is beautiful, magnificent and fantastic. Specifically, I like the urban planning and style of the city; I appreciate the rapid economic development of Beijing; I also appreciate the thick cultural atmospheres, the rich cultural resources and the quickness of the information spread in Beijing. Meanwhile, I am quite fond of the Peking Opera, Roast Duck and the Beijing Noodle so-called zhajiangmian.I am a member of the Peking Opera Association of Tsinghua University. What is more attractive to me will be the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. I have registered for a volunteer position for the 2008 Olympic Games and many people want to obtain the opportunity to serve during the Olympic Games, and I hope I can win the opportunity.Since the opening up and modernization drive of China in 1980s, China’s economy has witnessed a considerable advance. As the capital of China, Beijing’s economy has maintained a stable, rapid and sustainable trend for many years and will continue to grow with a better quality. Undoubtedly, with the development of the economy, more and more qualified talents are required. Optimistic economic situation provides the basis for me to catch my goal. Meanwhile, I think job seeking in Beijing will be quite challenging and I have prepared mentally.But I like challenging work and I think competition can make a person closer to success jf he is competitive enough.There are more than sixty universities and colleges in Beijing, including Tsinghua University and Peking University---two of the most famous universities in China. Thus the cultural atmosphere in Beijing is very attractive and the cultural resources are quite plentiful. There are many theatres where all kinds of art shows are constantly played and you can enjoy them if you have adequate time and money. According to my experiences and observation, only people in few other cities in China can enjoy the cultural life of the same level as that of the Beijingers.This is also an important factor that contributed to my determination to settle down in Beijing After my graduation.With the rapid economic development and the rising of the people’s living standard in Beijing, people begin to attach more attention to the state affairs and the consciousness of democracy has been greatly strengthened. To be specific in the lawful field, more and more people are not shameful of law suits any more and if one’s legitimate rights and interests are infringed, they will safeguard their interests by lawful means .Obviously this is a symbol of social progress From this point, the prospect of the lawful service market in Beijing will remain bright for a long time. This is also a positive factor for the people who are determined to be in involved in the law profession in the future. I think law profession will be a right choice for me .And I am confident that I can realize my self value in law service field.Beijing is really a tourist destination. There are so many kinds of museums, so many historical sites and so much natural scenery in Beijing that people from the other parts of China and abroad come to visit Beijing every year. Beijing is a good choice for the people who enjoy travelling, I like travelling, so Beijing is attractive to me. It is worth mentioning that I attended as a volunteer the 2005 Taiwan Youth Summer Camping in Beijing. It is the first time for most of the camping members to come to Beijing. During the summer camping they were greatly fascinated by the great changes and numerous historical sites in Beijing. They all wanted to have the opportunity to visit Beijing again.The 2008 Olympic Games are really an event to Beijing. It will be much meaningful to serve as a volunteer during the Games .I think I possess advantage to compete for the volunteer position because I major in law and I have had many experiences of being a volunteer on many occasions .I am confident that I will be enrolled finally to be the Olympic Games volunteer.“A coin has two sides.” And I think much work still should be done to make Beijing much more suitable to live. At first, the crowded traffic has not been effectively resolved. Besides this, air pollution, crime rate, the rising of the citizenry’s moral level, the high purchase price of housing and so on should all be paid more attention to and our government should take more and effective measures to resolve them.Under the guidance of “Harmonious Society” slogan and the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, the tomorrow of Beijing will be much brighter than ever! And my fixed goal of working and then settling down in Beijing will surely be achieved through my hard efforts.
