每每看到这些不文明行为，你也许会皱着眉头嘟囔一句:缺德!是的，这些人所缺少的正是“公德心”，不讲社会公德，不遵规守纪。
他们从来也不曾意识到原来自己也是这些公物的“主人”，不知道公物是大家公用的物品，每一个人都有爱护公物的义务。

公民道德的好坏，体现着一个民族的精神状态，影响着一个民族事业的兴衰。
一个人的言行，往往表现出个人素质的高低，进而影响整个集体的总体素质状况。
一个公民是否爱护公共设施，从小处讲可以反映出一个人道德素质的高低，一个学校校风的好坏;从大处讲也反映了一个国家文明程度及民族素质的高低。
我国颁布的《公民道德建设实施纲要》中提出了“文明礼貌、助人为乐、爱护公物、保护环境、遵纪守法”为主要内容的社会公德。
作为中华人民共和国公民，我们都应该按这个要求规范自己的行为。
古人云:“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之。
”其实爱护公物做起来也很简单，只要拥有一颗公德之心，处处遵守学校的各项规章制度，就能保证公共设施的完好无损与正常使用。
如果你失去了今天，你不算失败，因为明天时光会再来。
如果你失去了金钱，你不算失败，因为人生的价值不在钱袋。
如果你失去了社会公德，你是彻彻底底的失败，因为你已经失去了做人的真谛。
文明礼仪涵盖了人与人、人与社会、人与自然之间的关系。
它的主要作用，既是追求个人道德的完善，又是公众利益的维护，公共秩序的体现。
说到文明礼仪，我想到了一个关于伟大的领袖列宁的故事。
有一次，列宁同志下楼，在楼梯狭窄的过道上，正碰见一个女工端着一盆水已走了一半。
那女工见是列宁，先是一惊，然后赶忙退回去给他让路。
列宁却阻止她说:“不必这样，你端着东西已走了半截，而我现在空手，请你先过去吧!”他把“请”字说得很响亮，很亲切。
然后自己紧靠着墙，让女工上楼了，他才下楼。
还有一个故事，是在澳大利亚总理霍克就任期间，有一次在一家商场内，霍克与一位老人就养老金问题发生争执。
霍克一时冲动，骂那位老人:“愚蠢的老家伙。
”老人因此把他告到法院。
霍克举行记者招待会，就自己不文明的语言，公开向这位老者道歉。
他说:“那天我非常烦恼，但这不能成为我使用那种措辞的理由。
如果我确实伤害了他的话，我愿意就此向这位先生道歉，请他宽容我的不逊。
”听了两位名人的故事，你是否为他们而感慨呢?千万不要以为文明礼仪只是伟人、名人才具备，我们将无需为自己或多或少的不文明言行而愧疚。
因为那样你就大错特错了。
我们不但要有讲文明的大人物，我们更需要一群有礼仪的民众。
个人文明礼仪是根、是本。
人要有良好的文明环境，就必须先从自身做起，从身边做起。
正像鲁迅先生说:“中国欲存争于天下，其首在立人，人立而后凡事举。
”“立人”的意思便是要完善人的思想和文明修养，首先我们要致力于读书求学，完善自身的认知水平;认知到达一定水平，就有了明辨是非的能力;分辨是非善恶、端正自身的心态，不违背自己的良知，努力使自己的一言一行都符合道德的标准，自己的修养得到完善。
