The dramais a little effective. It's not as strong as most recent animatedfilms. It's more focused at being fun and hilarious. It's great when itstays to the roots of a cartoon like showing peculiar lookingcharacters acting like lunatics. The best laughs are when the monstersare expressing their misanthropy in a ludicrously paranoid way, andwhen they're just making fun of each other. Mainstream pop culture songnumbers kind of tone things down, but the song number at the end didn'taffect the breathtaking and emotional climax.Hotel Transylvania is good enough for the whole family even though it'sraucous. Fans of the animation genre would enjoy this a lot more. Sinceit's directed by a cartoon expert, it contains a lot of absurd andexciting scenes that is similar to his shows. Although, some mightexpect something more since many animated films these days are deeperand powerful, leaving the old habits behind. Hotel Transylvania stillhas the heart but it's just not as compelling as the others. If you'rein for the joys then this will give you a good time.

好莱坞从来就不缺少质量上乘的动画作品，迪士尼，皮克斯这两个伟大的公司已经珠玉在前，我相信在动画领域工作了20年的导演恩各迪的血液中早已融入了这种动画风格的基因，所以这部精灵旅社有着迪士尼的影子也就不足为奇了。
随着动画制作的日益精良，也许需要是能够迸发出更多创意的火花。
看似流水线上的作品中，其实饱含了导演对动画的热爱，觉得没有辜负导演定下的“恐怖喜剧”的基调。
像《勇敢传说》那样，《精灵旅社》主要也是表达了两代人沟通上的一些鸿沟，围绕着“自由”这个主题在做文章，只不过一个是女儿寻求改变，另一个则是父亲退让妥协。
虽然故事有些俗套，但是整片看下来都被那种喜剧欢笑的气氛所感染，有些东西也就不再那么重要了。
但是大量的喜剧元素，还是没有掩盖剧情的单薄，叙事节奏紧凑，总觉得有些事情没有交代清楚，情感起承转合过快，有些地方斜接的也甚不自然，但综合来说还是一部合格的动画作品。

手足无措的狼爸爸，总是很在意自己形象的隐形人，有些愚笨的科学怪人，眼睛发绿光的木乃伊，总是被别人侵犯隐私的骷髅情侣，更有意思的是挂在门上贫嘴的人偶和那对吵架的微生物，让人拍手叫绝。
片中对吸血鬼造型也进行了颠覆性的创造，不在那么冷冰冰，而是有点可爱神经质，无时无刻表现出对女儿的担心和控制，就是这种神经质又能屡屡戳中人的笑点。
小男孩没心没肺乐观的精神，也增加了不少的喜剧效果，而和尼古拉的对手戏，又能将剧情引向高潮。
怪物们闹哄哄的歌舞表演，也让人感到很嗨很开心，被那种愉快的气氛感染着。
影片最后的立意也比较简单，表达了人类没有那么恐怖，还是很友好的。
最后尼古拉不顾自己燃烧的身躯与挽救女儿的爱，也让人有点小感动。

电影开始时营造了一个非常温馨的氛围：风尘仆仆的父亲回到家，立刻把自己的女儿抱在怀里，逗着她，哈哈大笑。
我想导演之所以要设计出这样的场景目的是为了让观众明白吸血鬼僵尸——德库拉伯爵是个好爸爸。
在剧情中，男孩为了和自己心爱的女孩结合，男孩一直表现出一种坚持不懈的态度。
我妈曾经跟我说过这样的话：“做每一件事都要把它坚持做到最好才算完成
”是呀，不管结局如何，做任何事都不能半途而废。
结局坏，我问心无愧；结局好，我信心百倍。
在电影中，女孩留给我最深的印象就是她的直率和乐观，还有她的善良。
