人鱼（Merpeople） 灰绿色的皮肤，与杂乱的墨绿色长发，眼睛是黄色的，还有一口参差不齐的烂牙 狮身鹰首兽（Griffin） 食尸鬼（Ghoul） 马人（Centaur） 护树罗锅（Bowtruckle） 狼人（Werewolf） 半人半狼的生物。
每逢满月之时，这些原本正常的巫师便会变成杀人的野兽 独角兽（Unicorn） 美丽而忧伤的生物，有着长而纤细的腿，居住在霍格沃茨的禁忌森林中。

火蜥蜴（Salamander） 是住在火里头的一种小型蜥蝪，靠吃火焰维生 五足怪（Quintaped） 蒲绒绒（Puffskein） 庞洛克（Porlock） 莫特拉鼠（Murtlap） 猫狸子（Kneazle） 刺佬儿（Knarl） 卡巴（Kappa） 一种住在水中的恐怖生物，长得活像是全身布满鳞片的猴子，一双有蹼的手，迫不及待想把所有涉入他们池塘的倒霉鬼，全都给活活勒死 格林迪洛（Grindylow） 一种水鬼，头上长着小尖角的惨绿色生物，有着很长的手指，很有力，但也很容易折断。
‑ 地精（Gnome） 多半住在巫师的庭院里，体型很小，皮肤有如皮革一般地坚硬粗糙，还有一颗又大又秃、活像是马铃薯的大头颅 弗洛伯黏虫（Flobberworm） 一种无害的魔兽，照顾它们最好的方式就是不要去理它 狐媚子（Doxy） 鹰头马身有翼兽（Hippogriff） 有着马的身体、前腿和尾巴，但它的后腿、翅膀和头颅却活像适一只大老鹰，有着凶残的钢青色鸟喙和大而明亮的橘色眼睛。
非常的骄傲，容易生气。
当接近一头鹰头马身有翼兽时，先鞠个躬、静静地等待、持续注视着它的眼睛，表示你没有恶意，若是鹰头马身有翼兽回了礼，就表示可以靠近并抚摸它 . 龙 Welsh Green 威尔士绿龙 威尔士绿龙的外观和它家乡苍翠的草地极为调和，算是比较不惹麻烦的一种龙，吼声极为容易辨认，且出奇的悦耳。
它喷的火是一丝丝的细焰，它的蛋是泥褐色底带绿斑。
Chinese Fireball 中国火球 东方唯一所产的龙，名字是因为它吐火的方式而来的，当它生气时，会从鼻孔喷出蕈状的火焰。
中国火球龙的外貌极为骇人，鳞片是猩红色，极为光滑，鼻子短而扁平，下颚边长了圈金色硬穗，两眼暴凸。
Swedish Short-Snout 瑞典短鼻龙 蓝灰色的外观及极为亮眼，鼻头喷出的火焰也是蓝色的，不管是木材或是骨头，都不消几秒钟就化为灰烬 Hungarian Horntail 匈牙利树蜂 可能是所有龙种中最危险的一种，鳞片是黑色的，外表跟蜥蜴很相似，有着黄色的眼、头上的角是古铜色，而且长尾上还长着一排小角，也是类似的颜色。
Norwegian Ridgeback dragon 挪威脊背龙 海格情深缘浅的宠物，是罕见的龙种。
