广西贺州贺街镇临贺古城历史（简说）200字左右
临贺古城：位于贺州市贺街镇，始建于西汉元鼎六年，即公元前111年，是广西四大古城中唯一保存好的一座历史古城，被国家列为国家重点文物保护单位。
考古发现该诚共有三个城址，最早的城址位于大鸭村，称旧县城址。
该诚目前尚有西汉时期的东南西北四道城墙和东南两道城门，及北、南护城河，约西汉中期城址迁往今长利村境内的临贺两江交汇处的三角洲地带，称洲尾城址。
该城址纵横约三千米，由于历年洪水、淤泥堆积，现仅有南城墙露出地面300余米到东汉时期，城址再次迁徙，移到今天的河西街，称河西故城，此后一直到1951年县城迁往八步为止。
这里一直是临贺古郡的治所所在地。
现河西城址在河西有主城和附城之分，在河东自明以来又形成一个次生城区。
在附城的南面北三面有一道长1100余米的东汉夯土城墙，该城墙高 约6--3米，宽2.5--4米，夯土墙外有东汉护城河一道，宽3--4米，深1.5--0.8米。
在主城的东南西三面各有一道自宋以来包砖城墙，合约> 余米，西南二面各有五代护城河一道，东以临江为天然屏护，北段城墙和护城河俱毁。
在主城内保存有庙、祠堂、捕厅、衙门、义仓、会馆、文庙、学宫、石板街道、古井、古塔、民居、码头及水门等。
