沿着服务长廊一直往前走大家可能被眼前的秀丽的风景所吸引了，现在大家所处的位置就是我们学校的中心——中心花坛。
顾名思义，这里的绿色植物非常多，这里也是我们绿色校园的体现哦
中心花坛前方就是我们学校以前的图书馆，现在服务大厅。
好了，绕过服务大厅我们笔直往前走，路的左边就是学生的恋爱圣地——罗马广场。
夏天在这里情侣那是一对对。
还有每到学校举行重大娱乐节目全校师生便齐坐在这里观看，那场面是非常壮观、浩大的哦
毕竟我们学校是有两万多人的优秀院校嘛
而罗马广场的右侧就是一区女生公寓。
现在我们要去的地方就是我们学校的最先进、设备最齐全、设计最独特、环境最优美的学习圣地——图书馆。
图书馆里面的书籍非常齐全，里面配备了电子阅览室，学生可以在寝室里利用电脑阅览图书馆的书籍。

我们绕过这些地方，即将前往的就是我们学校的王牌专业之一的殡仪学院。
这个专业全国仅有几所大学开设，但我们民政学院在这几所中排第一哦
殡仪学院是长沙民政职业技术学院一个最具民政特色的学院。
它创建于1995年，下设两个专业：现代殡仪技术与管理专业和园林工程技术，其中殡仪技术与管理专业又分为殡仪服务、殡葬设备、防腐整容三个专业方向。
殡仪学院的开办填补了中国职业教育的两项空白，目前是中国培养殡葬专业人最高学府。

长沙民政职业技术学院外语学院（原应用外语系）成立于2003年，现有在校生1900余名，下设商务英语系、商务日语系、涉外旅游英语系、涉外旅游韩语系、涉外事务管理系、航空服务系六个系部，并设两个大学英语教学部负责全院大学英语教学。
现有专职教师119名，其中高级职称39名、讲师61名，常年聘用外籍教师6名。
外语学院积极开展教学和科研工作，取得了丰硕成果。
近几年来，主持和参与国家级课题5项，主持省级课题10余项，公开发表学术论文300余篇，主编了体现高职特色的教材40余部。
