봉래각옆의 사당은 소공사인데 이는 소동파를 기념하기 위해 부설된것입니다.안에 보시면은 대형의 석각이 있는데 한켠에는 해서문자체로 된 시 <해시>가 있고 다른 한켠에는 <오도자 그름을 관상하고서>이란 문구가 적혀져있는데 이는 모두 소동파가 직접 적은 글들입니다. 정자 동쪽에는 빈일루가있는데 이는 해돋이를 관상하는 곳입니다.蓬莱阁与黄鹤楼，岳阳楼，滕王阁并称为我们中国四大名楼，蓬莱阁最东端还有观海听涛最佳去处的观澜亭，下边还有神话传中八仙过海中的仙人桥。
蓬莱阁更因偶尔可以看到海市蜃楼而闻名全国，每年都吸引着大量游客。
