千山龙泉寺是东北地区仅有的几座名寺之一。
龙泉寺始建年代不详。
传说早在唐代这里就有了寺院。
因为唐太宗东征时喝过这里的泉水，寺内泉流如龙，故名龙泉寺。
龙泉寺现有建筑二十余座。
全寺依山而建，主体建筑分布在三层台地上，一层有法王殿、斋堂、客堂；二层有观音殿、东西配殿；三层有大雄宝殿等。
山门、钟楼、鼓楼、藏经阁、弥勒殿、韦陀殿、毗卢殿、僧房等，则布于主体建筑四周。
近年在藏经阁东侧建起的大殿叫华藏世界，更是规模宏大，气势非凡。
龙泉寺周围泉水清澈，松柏密布，石怪峰奇，景色幽美。

它全长700多米，分成273间。

大家往前看，这就是碧波荡漾的昆明湖。

在昆明湖的上面，就是闻名遐迩的万寿山。

郁郁葱葱的树丛掩映着黄的绿的琉璃瓦屋顶和朱红的宫墙。
