钨矿开采过程中由于曾经的科学技术水平有限，也建造了很多不科学的工业建筑，例如伴随我成长的樟斗镇上就有一个极其不科学的尾砂坝，那是用来储藏尾砂废砂的地方，这是钨矿业制造的特有的地貌，是一种人工沙地，樟斗镇上的尾砂坝建造在一个半山坳里，在以后的日子里，随着尾砂的不断增加，只有靠不断的加固坝体，来防治尾砂的崩塌，保护镇上人民的安全。
