上述种种情况表明，我们的家长在家庭教育方面犹如瞎子摸象，这就需要我们行动，努力去学好家庭教育科学知识，按照科学的方法去教育孩子，引导孩子，从而激发他们的潜能，努力将他们培养成适应新社会，造福人类的有用之才。
二、在家庭教育中家长们的责任1、为孩子创造良好的家庭学习氛围，用行动显示出对知识的重视与渴望，孩子就有可能对学习产生热爱。
2、培养孩子的自尊心和自信心，帮助孩子全面、真实地认识自己，形成独立做事的习惯。
3、帮助孩子从容应对挫折，培养孩子的乐观精神，使他们将来在逆境中能够保持良好的心态和斗志，能从顽强不屈的斗志对抗挫折，百折不挠。
4、教育孩子从小诚实守信。
惟有诚信才能赢得别人的尊重，才能引领你走向崇高，让灵魂闪耀。

其次，要学会培养孩子良好的学习习惯。
作为才踏进学校的孩子，我们更多的是培养他们有良好的阅读习惯。

第三，为孩子读书创造条件，优化环境。

最后，要重视孩子的心理健康。
孩子的心理健康关系一个民族的未来，如果自私、冷漠、孤僻、只讲索取不愿奉献占上风，那么我们不能不为我们祖国的将来担心，所以作为家长，我们不能片面地只注重到孩子的成绩，而忽视非智力因素。
