Winston Churchill is well-knownas a statesman, politician and as the British Prime Minister during most of theSecond World War. He is especially famous for his speeches which many believe made people even more determined to defeat the enemy. 财务工作者怎样践行核心价值观
首先，要明确核心价值观是什么。
对于财务工作者来说，是处于财务行业和企业单位这两个主体中的。
以企业倡导的核心价值观为主，结合财务人员的操守规范，树立自己的核心价值观。
其次，是践行核心价值观。
对于企业的核心价值观而言，是有人专门推导的，会潜移默化在企业的日常行为中。
财务人员作为企业的一分子，天天耳濡目染，自然会不自觉地践行企业的核心价值观。
但是，在践行企业价值观的同时，财务人员要坚持自己的原则，用朱镕基的话来说：“诚信为本,操守为重,遵循准则,不做假账”。
参照一下： 中国企业如何建立自己的核心价值观 一、什么是核心价值观 核心价值观（core value、motto、principal）就是指企业在经营过程中坚持不懈，努力使全体员工都必需信奉的信条。
核心价值观是企业哲学的重要组成部分，它是解决企业在发展中如何处理内外矛盾的一系列准则，如企业对市场、对客户、对员工等的看法或态度，它是企业表明企业如何生存的主张。
如宝洁公司的核心价值观是：领导才能leadership、主人翁精神ownership、诚实正直integrity、积极求胜passion for winning和信任trust。
中国企业真正按照企业性质运作的时间很短，能够建立起并恪守其核心价值观的企业就更是寥寥可数，与西方具有一百多年的企业相比，虽然在企业文化这个名词出来之前它们并没有叫做企业文化或核心价值观，但它们已经有一套比较成熟的企业文化运作体系，并且企业家对企业文化的重视以及执着足以令中国大多数企业家汗颜。
正如惠普公司共同创始人威廉.休利特所说的：“回顾一生的辛劳，我最自豪的，很可能是协助创设一家以价值观、做事方法和成就，对世界各地企业管理方式产生深远影响的公司。
” 由此可见，西方企业家对如何建立企业的核心观深有体会，特别是核心价值观对企业的影响更是认识深刻。
与此相反，中国许多企业家并不知道什么是核心价值观，或者以为核心价值观就是将一些时尚流行的管理哲理或警世名言贴在墙上或写在纸上就行了，要不然就罗列出一大堆管理书籍的理论或套路，使企业核心价值观成为挂在嘴上，写在墙上的绣花枕头。
真正的企业核心价值观必需符合如下标准： 1、 它必需是企业核心团队或者是企业家本人发自内心的肺腑之言，是企业家在企业经营过程中身体力行并坚守的理念，如有些企业的核心价值观中有“诚信”的字眼，但在实际经营过程中并没有体现出诚信的行为，那么它就不是这家企业的核心价值观。
从这个角度说，核心价值观不能够去追求时尚，世界五百强企业有的核心价值观不一定就是你的核心价值观，如创新、以人为本或追求卓越等，它可以是你价值体系的一部分，但并不一定是你的“核心”价值观。
2、 核心价值观必需是真正影响企业运作的精神准则，是经得起时间考验的，因此它一旦确定下来就不会轻易改变。
3、 所谓核心，就是指最重要的关键理念，数量不会太多，通常是五到六条。
中国企业在建立核心价值观经常有一些错误的理解，喜欢大而全，所以请一些所谓的专业人士撰写出一本本理念手册，殊不知这些理念可能只是哗众取宠的漂亮文字而已，结果是误导了员工又难于形成价值观体系。
二、中国企业建立核心价值观的方法 1、 立足长远，坚持基本商业信条 中国现在处于过渡时期，机会比机遇多，很多投机行为或不规范操作都可以使人一夜暴富，因此许多鱼目混杂的人都自称为企业家，他们的经营理念可以说是赚钱而不是事业。
伟大的企业需要伟大的企业家，他们懂得无论在什么时候都会遵守基本的商业伦理，他们懂得权衡长远利益与短期利益的利弊，他们知道为了获取更多的钱而如何放弃钱。
所以他们会在当前中国没有正式形成诚信制度的情况下自觉恪守诚信的理念，甚至为此做出许多别的企业家觉得“傻”的行为，而这恰好是中国企业在未来如何区分优秀企业与一般企业的最大区别。
因此，恪守商业伦理，坚持基本的商业信条，从长远出发，甚至为此不惜成本，这才是未来中国企业核心价值观的代表。
2、 你所倡导的，就必需你去推崇 很多中国企业家都认识到企业文化的作用，他们将企业文化经常挂在嘴边，要求各层管理人员要重视企业文化建设，但他自己本人却依然高高在上，说的和做的两层皮或者要求员工做到自己却漫不经心，这是绝对的错误。
作为企业家，其主要管理职能应该是战略、人力资源和企业文化，也就是说他要做好战略的决策工作、建立吸引人才的平台，当好企业核心价值观的牧师。
“你所倡导的，就必需你去推崇”
如果一家企业的核心价值观不是由企业家本人身体力行，坚持不懈的宣导，那么你又有什么资格要求员工去信奉这所谓的核心价值观，并将其行为化呢
3、 越是民族的就越是世界的 中国企业现在处在高速发展阶段，中国式管理模式尚未形成，各种各样的管理思维和方法充斥着管理界，到底什么才是适合中国企业的管理方法和理念，各有各的说话。
我们认为，在核心价值观的建立上，必需采取“博采众长，以我为主”的做法，不能盲目去模仿所谓世界级公司的核心理念，但也不能不顾商业法则，违背公理而单一强调“合适才是最好的”。
企业文化是根植于民族文化的土壤之中，如果核心价值观与民族文化相违背，那么它根本就无法生存。
因此我们就很容易理解，为什么跨国公司重视跨文化管理的问题。
一个跨国公司的总裁，必然是一个跨文化管理的专家，因为无论是那一个国家企业的最“优秀”的核心价值观，如果不能与本土国家的文化相融，那它就会失去生存的土壤。
因此中国企业不能好高务远，盲目追求缩短与世界企业的差距而建立所谓的世界级的理念，应该塑造一种基于民族文化和商业伦理，又是企业家内心追求的真正核心价值观，唯有如此，中国企业才能建立适合中国国情的价值观体系。
其实中国企业与西方企业在建立核心价值观的方法上并没有太大的区别，关键是在理解核心价值观上的观念存在差异。
就是说中国企业用什么方法去提炼和表达公司的核心价值观并不是最重要的，你用西方理性的思维来表达，只要你的员工可以理解那就行了，你用中国传统的文言文表达你的理念，你的员工可以接受理解那也没有问题，关键是你所推崇的理念是不是你的“核心”理念，你能不能恪守这些理念才是最关键的。
