交谈是一种常见的交流方式。在公务活动、社交场合中需要掌握交谈方法, 加强沟通了解, 获得有效信息。
交谈是一种双向甚至是多向活动, 而不是一个人“唱独角戏”, 不仅需要较强的口头表达能力, 而且需要交谈者察言观色, 协调呼应。交谈是公务人员工作能力、社交能力的综合体现。
交谈在工作、社交及日常生活中广泛运用。调查研究、走访谈心、社交应酬、待人接物, 都需要交谈。只有遵守有关规范, 才能使交谈有内容、有效果。
谈些什么?
交谈首先是一个“谈什么” 的问题, 也就是谈话的范围、内容。只有确定和寻找一个恰当的话题, 交谈才有可能成功。
交谈的话题要注意以下问题:
要考虑需要。交谈有时是必须进行的, 尤其是公务活动中的交谈, 谈话的内容常常没有选择, 无法回避。尽管有些是棘手的问题, 也必须面对。有些社交场合, 比较轻松, 交谈的话题没有太多的限制, 拉拉家常, 嘘寒问暖, 联络感情, 也是一种需要。要考虑兴趣。交谈是双方的, 不能一厢情愿。必须是双方感兴趣的话题。在公务活动中, 交谈必须切题, 围绕各方共同关心的话题交谈, 才能调动积极性, 活跃交谈气氛。否则, 交谈就会变得索然无味,话不投机。
要考虑格调。即便是非正式场合, 也要特别注意交谈的格调。也就是说, 交谈的内容要健康、高尚、合法。不能津津乐道于低级趣味、庸俗无聊的`东西,热衷于荒诞离奇、黄色淫秽的东西。在一些社交场合,要注意交谈的品位。因为交谈的内容反映了一个人的文化教养、审美情趣、襟怀品格。
要考虑擅长。有些交谈话题是可以选择的。这就要尽量选择那些自己熟悉和擅长的话题, 可以驾轻就熟, 应付裕如, 也容易给人留下谈吐不俗的印象。如果谈那些陌生领域甚至一窍不通的话题, 就会捉襟见肘, 狼狈不堪。如果可能, 还要尽量主动涉及对方所擅长的内容, 令对方有话可谈, 发挥所长。
