我总是矛盾的贪婪，不忍杀生，亦不愿放生。贪婪本身就是罪过了，又还去折磨贪婪，实属罪恶。别人得不到淡然，自己也成了惘然，便永远也无法自命清高了。大都是凡人，自命不凡无异于五十步笑百步，玩弄着人体娃娃，却指责别人性无能。这是一种迫不及待，愚蠢的表现。
不管世界如何千变万化，有些东西是不可以变的，比如说日月星辰的运行规律是从来不变的。同样，人性中一些东西是不能变的，比如说坚持、向善、勤奋、不贪婪、不自私，是一个人赢得尊重必须具备的品质。如果你在社会中一旦被人尊重，在一个团体中一旦被信任，你未来得到的机会会更多。所以，有些东西是不能变的。

每个人都会有着无法满足的`私欲，或好或坏。遇到好的，便希望能够更好，永远都不会满足眼前。这也许可以说是贪婪的人性，或是不断向前的动力。很多时候机会只有那么一次，错过就是错过。就像一个破碎的花瓶，不管在如何努力粘补，始终回不到初始的模样。或许人生就是这般复杂，总是在失去以后才会后悔莫及，才懂得如何去珍惜。切莫眼高于顶，还是量力而为吧。稳步向前，方能守得一片宁静。锋芒毕露，或许会留下过多遗憾。人，总会懂得去回忆。在闲暇之际，翻阅逝去的往事，或是遗留的遗憾。总是因为失去，才学会珍惜。
燃灯法师曾说，如果我们破除一切执著尘劳，丢掉身外迷乱本性的贪婪和物欲，找回自己，这样就此获得身心的自然安宁惬意舒适安逸。欲望，终究是人类本身难以抵御的。那么，我们应是能够自控，以禅之心自救，用佛之智慧善待生命，如此甚好。有的人苦寻一生也是与内心希望无缘。比如情爱，也许他们从未触及，只是在它的国度飘浮。行如孤魂，某一天绝望透了，就等着灰飞烟灭。比如职场，人性繁多，心计玩尽，最终也不过一场空算计。
人活着，还是要有一点信念的，相信正义、相信美好，尽管我们常常看到、体验到的是社会的丑陋阴暗和人性的自私贪婪，但是，沉沦在其中，只会让人更悲观更失望，甚而自暴自弃且与之同流合污，我们无法改变所有，但是我们可以为自己的心灵营造一片净土，天空那么宽广，我们不能尽扫满天阴霾，但总还可以让自己头上的青天碧蓝纯净，这样，阳光终会透过乌云照射在你的世界里，使其明媚灿烂！
人生就是在由不满足到满足的创造过程中渡过的，某个方面满足后，还会去追求新的满足。这不是贪婪，而是人性的自然需求。
人性都是贪婪的，只是或多或少而已，都总以为将来会遇到更好的人，只是当你回头想去珍惜那错过的人时，幸福已不再属于你。
