《毕业生》
1967年,“新好莱坞电影”的出现，使更多贴近现实生活和年轻人思想感情的电影出现。在这个变革中，达斯廷·霍夫曼的成名作《毕业生》是一部举足轻重的代表作。这部大胆揭露六十年代年轻人迷失方向，揭开美式中产阶级虚伪面具的电影，向我们表露了新的一代人，新的一代的价值观，成为“新好莱坞电影”的先锋之作。
本片描述了一个刚步出大学校门的社会新鲜人本恩，面对众人口中所谓的美好前程，自己却对未来生活感到茫然。而父母对本恩的一生充满了期望，一切都似乎已经安排好了：入读大学、进入研究所、成为中产阶级、和一个家境相当的女人结婚。最要命的是，这种期望已经无可厚非。作为孩子，他明白父母是善意的，这些期望都是为了他好，对于一些人来说这或许是最完美的人生规划，但对于他来说，只能让他更为困惑与悲哀。在家庭晚会来客中的鲁宾逊太太对这个小伙子很感兴趣，并让本恩开车送她回家。风流的夫人不断挑逗本恩，但被拒绝。可是接下来无聊的日子加之自己对未来的迷茫，不久后他便开始了同鲁宾逊太太约会，不知不觉中他也爱上了鲁宾逊太太的女儿伊莱恩。 鲁宾逊太太知道真相后坚决反对，并想尽办法拆散两人的交往。本恩终于找到机会向伊莱恩表白了爱意，并坦诚了自己曾经的堕落，只是没说出那个夫人的名字。 伊莱恩原谅了他，但鲁宾逊太太的震怒使伊莱恩猜到了一切。伤心的她在父母的精心设计下与一个叫卡尔的人仓促结婚。本恩得知这一消息，不顾一切，费尽千辛万苦奔向了教堂，他要尽最后力量挽回心爱的人。最后镜头停止跟随在车后,静静地看着汽车远离,给人很微妙的感觉,为观众留下了无限的想象与憧憬。
作为观众，我们可以无限的想象，也许是对青春的伤逝吧，导演为表现毕业生的迷茫与无助,特意插入让本恩穿上潜水服一步一步的往游泳池走去的镜头。从潜水服里只能看到外面的人在欢笑却听不到他们的声音。在本恩的世界里，只能听见自己急促的呼吸声，迷茫麻木的内心使得所有人的脸都是缓慢的，扭曲的，静止的。这可以是本恩的内心独白，或是本恩对外界极其厌恶的一种表现。在每一个刚刚踏入社会的人的眼中，所有恶意或善意的忠告与借鉴，都将被隔离出他们的世界。潜水服似乎是本恩的保护罩，匆匆潜入水中，就是他急切想摆脱一切世俗的反应。呼吸声，遮盖住世间喧哗，但是抵挡不住外界对他的影响与制约。父亲一次又一次把他按入水中，似乎在暗示着你应该按着我给你规划好的一切走每一步，你永远是我手中的一颗小小的旗子！无奈的.他似乎也只有默默的沉入水底，等待着一切。当本恩在酒店为嬉闹喧哗的各类上流人士开门，看着他们漠视的只顾自己沉迷的脸，他才明白自己的未来在何处。本恩虽然优秀,然而走出学校依然对未来充满了迷茫,还为此成为了父亲合伙人的老婆的情人。直到他遇见了伊莱恩，才看到了自己盼望已久的生活，他才不再为此迷茫下去，不顾别人的冷嘲热讽,甚至是爱的人的父母的威逼,依然不放弃,最终赢得了自己的爱情。可以说这部电影介于悲剧与喜剧结局之间，表现的不仅是美国迷茫的一代人的生活，还有通过自己的努力而换来成功的喜悦。
影片里有太多关于大人们和本恩的矛盾与冲突，但本恩开始只是想要逃避。对于他来说，逃避这一切，也许就能远离那些虚假的微笑和不现实的世界，可是难道我们就必须现实，现实得没有自我、没有反抗、没有自己的世界吗？在该拒绝的时候为什么要接受，在该反抗的时候为什么要忍受。大部分的我们已经在岁月里丧失了对童话的幻想，已经丢失了对未来美好的憧憬。但是我们偶尔还会留有对现实的反抗与一丝丝幻想。本恩从温文尔雅，到出言不逊；从西装革履，到衣衫褴褛；从乖巧听话，到我行我素。他打破了一切父辈们引以为傲的形式主义的生活标准，而去追求心灵交会的巅峰体验。伊莱恩是他在爱情中的转折，同时也
是他整个命运的转折。在她这里，他找到了前进的方向与动力。其实这也告诫了我们，对于所有将要踏上社会的年轻人来说，在迷茫阶段的指引忠告往往是起不到作用的，关键是要让我们自己揭开社会神秘的面纱，自己寻找生命的真谛，发现生活的奥秘。我们可以迷茫，但是不要迷失了自己。不要成为生活的傀儡，学会发现生活，感受生活，那么才能让自己的舞台更加绚丽！
