The title of my speech today is “The Doors that Are Open to Us ”.
The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. “I got the highest mark in the mid-term examination!” she said. Dont be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45.
Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a college. “This was the wisest decision I have ever made,” she said proudly like a teenage girl. To her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young.
“Compared with the late 70s,” she says, “now college students have many doors.” My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978 when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory.
I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice in her major and job. Look at us today! So many doors are open to us! I believe there have never been such abundant opportunities for self-development as we have today. And my aunt told me that we should reach our goals by grasping all these opportunities.

In the book,Helen with delicate strokes,the natural scenery description,make it difficult to believe that from a deaf blind pen; she go horseback riding,boating,swimming,the sled,even alone on moonlight nights,try to comprehend the beauty of the lotus pond; she is going to visit the museum,"listening to the concert," even to "enjoy" the Opera.I believe she is the heart to feel the world,heart to enjoy life.She is much smaller than those of us normal people live happy,live,live a meaningful life!Is knowledge gave her the courage to live,is the knowledge gave her to accept the challenges of life force,so that she could take the amazing perseverance in the face of difficulties,finally found life light in the darkness.The knowledge produced a belief that she:the realistic environment is terrible,but humans should hope,struggle.What is the meaning of life,what is the value of life?Human life is short,we have never thought or did not dare to imagine the future world,daily life lazily,lazily,difficult to blame everyone and everything but not oneself,complain that the God is not fair.On this day in and day out,year after year,time flies like water,the past days no longer,when we look back,whether it is worth recalling?Whether it is worth remembering?If,every one of us,believe me with the knowledge to light our hearts,lamp,the world will be a light!
Helen,with her hard but happy life,the interpretation of the meaning of life.Her life is the miracle of mankind,her autobiography,to my shame,I keep watch.

Knowledge of how the power,it can make a disabled person,become a beneficial to mankind,for the benefit of society.If,every one of us,can be like Helen.Keller,in the rest of ones life the thirst for knowledge,as the pursuit of life,every day hold this pursuit,with friendly,energetic,eager to life,our life will add a little joy,how happy ah!
