高尔基曾经说过书籍是人类进步的阶梯，我们要多读书，不然书到用时方恨少。
记得小时候，妈妈经常不让我看电视，让我看一些书籍。那时的我，感觉书籍就像白开水一样平淡，没有任何滋味，所以我总是静不下心来品味它。在我看来，书里既没有一幅幅精彩的图片，也没有幽默滑稽的动作，有得也只是看着就令人头痛的文字。妈妈看着我这心不在焉的样子，总是对我说：“古人说书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉，只要你仔细品味，就会找到你想要的！”我听了，小声嘀咕：“什么黄金屋，颜如玉，我才不要哩！要看你自己看！”妈妈听了，无奈地摇了摇头。
可是不知从什么时候起，我竟然爱上了读书。只要一有时间，就会往书店里跑。细细品味那些优美的段落，仿佛眼前呈现了一幅幅精彩动人的画面。
每当我心情不好的时候，我总会打开书，欣赏着主人公的喜怒哀乐，不禁感觉每个人都会遭遇这些生活中的挫折，但我们要乐观面对。这时候，我的所有不愉快都统统一扫而空。
每当我考试失利时，灰心丧气时，书籍总会给我心灵上的慰藉，似乎在告诉我：“没关系，这次考不好，下次再努力就行了！”我若有所思，决定刻苦学习。
读书教会了我许多，它教会了我要做一个有道德，有素质，有信念，要坚强的人。它还教会我在困难面前永不低头。

我是一个名副其实的书虫，走到哪都有一本让我“啃”。姐姐常常说我房间里都是书，就连枕头底下也有三四本书，课我一点也不介意，书的香味是多让人舒服啊！
什么书我都“啃”，从漫画到古典名著，从小说到百科知识丛书，没有了它们，我这只书虫可怎么活下去啊！
我很喜欢读司马迁的《史记》，文中为治水而三过家门而不入的大禹，西楚霸王项羽，伟大诗人屈原，这些人物深深烙印在我的记忆中。但最让我印象深刻的是《西门豹》这个故事。讲的是西门豹管辖的地区，有一个“为河神娶亲”的习俗，每年要“献”一位姑娘，不然“河神”就会让大家大难临头。西门豹为了打破这个习俗，就在那天以“姑娘不漂亮让巫婆下去报告河神”为理由，把巫婆和那些传播谣言的人一起推入河中。
西门豹真聪明，他已其人之道还治其人之身，救了这座城里的姑娘。
书是好东西，它给我们带来了知识和快乐，我们可不能“扔掉”它们啊!
只要我一坐在书桌前，那书里面的鲜灵活现的人物、一幕幕的情节就像电影一样浮现在我的脑海里。于是我便会控制不住，随手拿起一本书，认真、仔细地阅读下去。讽刺、幽默、搞笑的内容把我一步步引入下去，深入到书的海洋中，故事的情节总是让我忘了时间，忘了睡觉，忘了明天还要上学。
书呀书，你怎么那么可爱呢？让我不得不粘着你。我伴读书行，读书伴我行！

读万卷书，行万里路。书是人类进步的阶梯，是我们生活和学习中必不可少的精神食粮。不知从何时起，书成了我生活中不可缺少的组成部分，一天不读书，便觉得日子无味，便觉得时光的漫长、单调，便觉得生命失去了生机。
我对书的欣赏和阅读，在于博、杂：或天文地理、或历史哲学、或军事艺术、或人物传奇、或诗歌散文、或新闻轶事……古今中外诸子百家，都令我如痴如醉。古人常说：“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉。”的确不错，我从书籍中汲取了丰富的营养，充实了自己，丰富了课余生活。从书中，我了解到了真假、善恶、美丑。在三国演义中，我了解了很多的历史知识，如“三顾茅庐”“三气周瑜”“草船借箭”“空城计”。刘备的守信、关羽的义盖天下、诸葛亮的神机妙算都使我佩服得五体投地，也让我懂得了人不能因为挫折或失败就气馁，而是要从失败中吸取教训。我佩服勇敢坚强的霍金，同情卖火柴的小女孩的悲惨遭遇，钦佩居里夫人的大公无私、造福人类。
书让我的生活变得丰富多彩。从书本上，我知晓了人类之伟大，自然之神奇，宇宙之浩瀚，科学之奥秘，知识之力量。
书，它像一位和蔼可亲的老师，引领我通向知识的殿堂。书，是一叶扁舟，承载着我，搏击在浩淼的知识海洋中，让我领略学习的趣味。书成了我形影不离的好朋友，它陪伴我度过了一个又一个春华秋实的美好岁月。它给我带来了智慧和力量，它在我苦恼徘徊时给我点亮前进的航标……书，给予了我太多太多。所以，我爱读书！

读了《爱读书的我》这篇文章后，心中怦然一动。感到就是自己的生活写照。年少时，我也是捧着书如痴如醉地读着，忘记了吃饭，忘记了曾经还要完成的作业……
语文课上，每当老师拿我的作文当范文读时，我也曾沾沾自喜过；上中师时，我是学校宣传部的一员，校的广播站每周都播放我写的.文章。当优秀宣传委员立功喜报邮到父亲单位时，爸爸自豪地笑了。这些都来源于我对读书的热爱。它对于我的专业成长也有很大的帮助。转眼间，我从事教育教学工作已有二十一个年年头了。在这二十年的教学工作中，我积累了一定的教学经验，同时也对一些问题产生了困惑。我通过读书，解决了自己的困惑。

沐浴在书香世界里，享受读书带来的快乐，我，是一位六年级的学生，与书相伴了十二年，在这十二年里，书，既是我的老师，又是我形影不离的朋友。
今天，我拿起一本《青鸟》读了起来：在一个圣诞节的前夕，棣棣和咪棣家里来了一位仙女，让光带着孩子们去寻找青鸟，水、火、狗、猫都变成了人的形状，棣棣和咪棣在回忆过了看到了爷爷奶奶，在未来世界里看到了青孩子。猫十分狡诈，为了自己生存，不惜一切代价，与狗的忠诚形成一个鲜明的对比，两个孩子历经重重困难，最后在家里找到了青鸟，送给了邻居女孩，女孩的病也立刻好了。
读着读着，我想起了梅特林克曾说过的一句话：我们每个人都在寻找自己的幸福，其实幸福并不难得到，如果我们经常怀着无私良好的意愿，那幸福就近在咫尺之间。其实我们身边就有幸福，甚至在太阳底下工作也是一种幸福，帮助别人，更是一种幸福。幸福，宛如一只可爱的小鸟，引领我寻找幸福的方向。
翻过最后一面，我知道了这样的读书方法才是正确的：首先要理解故事主要内容，知道中心思想，然后了解作者为什么要写这个故事，圈出好词好句，并摘抄下来，再把故事编下去，找出不懂的句子，最后，把找出的问题解决……
我们就应该这样读书，品书，这样细细的理解每个句子、词语，找出生词，知道中心思想……这样读书，才能有进步，有收获。

Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters.
The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.
The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.
Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

Their friendly gift of a Christmas holiday breakfast to a neighbouring family is an act of generosity rewarded with wealthy Mr. Laurences gift of a surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the pretty Meg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; while the golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keeps the house is always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husbands illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. The novel tells of their progreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beths terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. This is the story of their growing maturity and wisdom and the search for the contentedneof family life.
It was written in 1867 and is a fictionalised biography of Alcott and her sisters. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seem outdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.

This story is gripping and also a little scary.It is tragic and sobering.The plot is both unexpected and reasonable.Although Old Mr White’s friend had warned him,but he didn’t listen.At last it became a tragedy.What caused all this?It’s obvious that the Mr White’s greed. He wanted to get the money with no pay,but that is impossible in this world.I’m afraid he’ll live out the rest of his life in regret. The three men who used the monkey’s paw all paid an irreparable price for their greed.
This short novel tells us a lesson that we can’t daydream.Waiting for money and success comes with no pay is stupid and not realistic.We should work and study harder.Chase the treasure on your own without regret or sadness.
