延伸阅读：鉴赏现代诗歌的技巧
在诗歌的学习中，现代诗歌无疑是个难点。因其写作手法多样、表现力丰富和意境高远的特点而成为一大教学障碍。但众所周知，学习一定要掌握好的学习方法，合理的方法才是突破障碍的捷径。通过多年的教学实践，我认为中学生学习现代诗歌应做到以下三点：
一、了解写作背景，多多诵读诗篇
我们知道，解读诗歌的内涵，不仅要了解它的表面意思，还要深层理解作者的感情，因此对作品背景的了解是非常重要的。如藏克家《有的人》这首诗，初看是在写两种人，采用的是对比手法，然而作者为何而写却不甚明了，也可以说对诗中的两种人的行为和精神实质很难把握。
因此，了解作者写的对象——鲁迅先生就显得尤为重要了。通过查阅
有了这样的基础，此时要想进一步把握诗歌，需要理解作者在诗歌中的感情，但感情的理解应该分两步，首先要学会读出感情，诗歌的节奏感和韵律是其特色，很多时候，读出来的是一份细腻的情感，这份情感是无法用语言表述清的。如戴望舒的《雨巷》，艺术精湛，大量运用复沓、叠句、重唱等手法，形成了循环往复、一唱三叹的旋律和婉转悦耳的.乐感，把诗歌的音乐美发挥到极致。同时，诗歌又兼用了比兴和象征的手法，将中国古典诗词中凄美的“丁香”意象、现实中悠长寂寥的雨巷和期待中的结着愁怨的姑娘创造性地组接在一起，形成迷离朦胧的意境，含蓄地暗示出作者既迷惘感伤又有所期待的情怀，给人一种幽渺的美感。而这种意象尤如水中月、镜中花，看得见却摸不着，甚至只能通过反复的咏诵才可窥其一二。
再如，贺敬之《回延安》中“杜甫川唱来/柳林铺子笑，红旗飘飘/把手招。白肚子手巾/红腰带，亲人们迎过延河来。满心话/登时说不出来，一头扑在/亲人怀”集中地体现了激动、喜悦的情感，而这种情感需要在诵读中时时体会，直至心情澎湃，热血洋溢。从中我们不难看出，结合背景的诵读会更具感情，能更好地让学生品味出其中的韵律和意境。
二、解析情感主线，体会诗歌意境
没有感情就没有诗歌的创作。作者的感情是用诗中的文字并且在文字的字里行间里体现出来的。《乡愁》是余中光的代表作，我们可以从中看出诗中“小小的邮票”不仅表达了诗人对小时候依恋的一份感情，还有对母亲的一种思念之情，可以说诗人所有的情感都体现在那一枚毫不起眼却饱含深情的邮票之上了。而后，作者通过“窄窄的船票”“矮矮的坟墓”“浅浅的海峡”进一步表达了那种相依相偎、割舍不断的种种情怀，让人读之动容，品之叹息。可以说诗人的这份情感在“小”“窄”“矮”“浅”这几个字词中体现得淋漓尽致，浓烈异常，让读者回味无穷。
当然，意境的体会不仅是把握作者的感情线索，还在于学生的主观感受，换句话讲就是一首诗中同样的形象在不同的学生眼中感受也是不同的。如的《沁园春·长沙》中的描述“看层林尽染，漫江碧透，百舸争流。鹰击长空，鱼翔浅底，万类霜天竞自由”，可以想象作者立于橘子洲头，一个“看”字尽领风骚，一红一绿，一静一动，可谓是写出了生命的极致。而林、江、舸、鹰、鱼等“竞”的风姿在不同的人眼中却是不同的姿态，令人产生无穷无尽的联想。但不管是哪种联想，却又脱不开“自由”的意境。这也恰是诗歌的魅力所在。
三、尝试诗歌创作，展现心中的诗情
大家知道，目前中国教育依旧离不开考试这一模式，而教师的教学方式也缺少创新精神，大多数老师为了高分而忽略了学生用“诗”的形式来表述内心世界的需求，甚至加以制止。好的教育，我认为是完全可以让孩子们进行诗歌的创作的，只要是积极健康的都应提倡，否则世界上就不会有骆宾王的“咏鹅”了。中学生完全可以在老师的引导下写出自己心中的诗情画意来，用“诗意”为自己的学习生活增添一份美丽。例如我曾看到过这样一首诗《海狸》：“从前有只小海狸，活在我的心海里，无忧无虑的游来游去，在大海汹涌的波涛里。……现在我的心海里，游过匆匆的海狸，海留住了它的身影，却留不住它的心。”这是一首中学生作的诗，诗中写出了一只向往自由快乐的海狸，实际是作者对自我内心的写照，可以想象，在沉重的学习负担下，一只小小的海狸向往自由的大海是多么令人同情的，更何况情感还是那么阳光，那么充满诗意的自信。虽说文笔还有些稚嫩，但又不失为一篇表达内心世界积极向上的好作品。当我们能引导学生用诗意的眼光去感受生活，相信我们的学生也能尽情地展示自己诗歌的创作才华，让自己像一条自由自在的鱼在诗歌的海洋里畅游。
当然，学生们还要学会用“诗意”的眼光去观察世界，体会生活。文学作品来源于生活，大胆尝试，用心去写，无论是悲哀、无奈、叹息，还是开心、快乐、兴奋，都可以用诗的形式去表达，这样不仅提高了学生的动手能力，还提高了对诗歌的理解能力。
总之，只要我们多思考，多感悟，多尝试，学习现代诗歌这一障碍就会不攻自破。
