Man is not made for defeat,a man can be destroyed but he can not be defeated. Gently closing the book "the old man and the sea",I cant help thinking . In real life, encountering difficulty is unavoidable, the most important is to confront and have perseverance so that we can learn from failure.

I read a famous American writer Ernest Hemingways novel "the old man and the sea", very admire kept the will of the novel, he let me know how a man must have perseverance, can succeed. The man is a novel depicts a near the old fisherman, in a single out to sea fishing, caught a big fish, but pull not up. The old fisherman al with fish after a few days, found that this is a more than his several times as big marlin fishing boats, although knowing is hard to win, but still dont give up. Later and because the big marlin wound fish smell drew a few group of sharks rob food, but the old man still would not so give up, eventually beckoning, the big fish back to the fishing port, let the other fishermen to admire.

I have read a book the other day called The Monkey’s Paw which is written by W.W.Jacobs.The story began on a cold and dark night.Old Mr White got a magic monkey paw from his friend Morris.Morris who told him that the monkey paw could give three wishes to three people,but it couldn’t bring them happiness.However,Old Mr White still used the paw to make wishes without listening to Morris’s discourage.Finally, he got thirty thousand pounds but his son died.At the end of the story,Mrs White almost became crazy.The whole family fell into sadness and fear.
This story is gripping and also a little scary.It is tragic and sobering.The plot is both unexpected and reasonable.Although Old Mr White’s friend had warned him,but he didn’t listen.At last it became a tragedy.What caused all this?It’s obvious that the Mr White’s greed. He wanted to get the money with no pay,but that is impossible in this world.I’m afraid he’ll live out the rest of his life in regret. The three men who used the monkey’s paw all paid an irreparable price for their greed.
This short novel tells us a lesson that we can’t daydream.Waiting for money and success comes with no pay is stupid and not realistic.We should work and study harder.Chase the treasure on your own without regret or sadness.

I think “The monkeys paw” is very useful.Because it tells us some important things.Such as "get something for nothing." is impossible.We must do every things by ourselves.And we must know learn by doing.
When I was 10 years old.I was not good at math.And I had tried to find many escape solutions.But no one is good for me.My mother tolds me,"learn by doing",and I did some test questions.Now,my math is ok.I think my story likes "The monkeys paw".And in the new future,I will do every things by my self and do not rely on my father and mother.I know I am the best.

听说27日上午有英语公开课，我和费腾妈妈都很想参加，主要想了解孩子与同龄人相比有多大差距，同时也看看宝宝上了3个月的小四班是怎样进行攀登英语教学的，英语公开课
但前一天，妈妈突然接到通知要参加一项检查工作，不能去了。妈妈非常遗憾，早晨跟宝宝说时，她竟然伤心地哭了。
9点，家长鱼贯进入教室，站在自己孩子身后，公开课在攀登英语轻快的音乐声中开始了。
首先是英语版的自我介绍游戏。邓老师拿起一根指挥棒交给第一位小朋友，小朋友就开始用英文介绍自己，并随机地把指挥棒交给另一位幼儿，第二位小朋友的英文介绍又开始了……如此不停地交棒接棒，所有的孩子都参与了这个游戏，也学习锻炼了简单的英文口语。孩子虽小，但差距已经在这个游戏中体现出来。有的孩子，可以独立的完成这个游戏，老师也很放心的让他自己表演；但有的小朋友却不能胜任，需要老师拿这他的手替他（她）说出自己的英文名并把指挥棒交到下一个幼儿手中。我观察，有80%以上的孩子都可以独立参与这个游戏。
紧接着，另一个看图说单词的游戏又开始了。老师拿着十几张大卡片，逐一让幼儿观看，幼儿每看到一张就用英文说出图片上的单词。当看到狐狸的图片时，跟在老师身后的幼儿都跑回各自的座位，如果哪位小朋友跑得慢了，就会被老师抓住，成为FOX的"美餐"了.
后来，老师又让小朋友分组表演了英语歌舞APPLE TREE，还做了小火车等等英语游戏。每个游戏都趣味盎然、寓教于乐。
这次英语课，让我对小四班的两位老师有了新的认识。原先我认为她们是美女老师，现在我认为她们更是才女老师！在整节英语课上，老师几乎没有使用汉语和幼儿交流，也就是说，幼儿必须听懂、运用英语才可以融入课堂。三个月的时间让30多位3-4岁的幼儿做到这些真的很不容易，说明老师掌握了幼儿学习语言的规律、特点。老师流利纯正的美语深深吸引着她们的学生，也倾倒了在场的全体家长。
这次英语课，也引起家长的热议。有些在课堂表现不尽如人意的幼儿的家长，在下课后都表示要加强幼儿在家庭的英语辅导，以其更快的融入课堂，融入集体。与其说是老师给幼儿上了一节英语课，到不如说是老师给家长上了一节育儿课！
这次英语课，我也看出，幼儿虽小，已有差距。比如郑清扬小朋友，她表现欲强、英语娴熟、专心听讲、参与游戏，可谓是“明星学员”。与他一样优秀的还有郑云鹏和几位叫不出名字的小朋友。
看来，我家也要加强孩子的家庭辅导了。
一、情感态度
本次优质课的教师都很重视思想政治教育，激励学生积极的学习动机、态度、兴趣，促使学生积极主动地投入到学习活动中去。例如，有位教师在教课文Wildlife Protection时，播放了一个flash,画面上是一群鹿在悠闲自得地漫步在青青草原上，突然间传来一阵枪响，刹那间，茫茫草原上尸横遍野，血流成河，引出课文主题“保护大自然，保护野生动物”，使学生既受到思想政治和情感教育，又使教学内容自然衔接导入新课。而且能培养运用英语进行交际活动的能力。
课堂上每位教师都能用英语OK. Very good. Wonderful. excellent等评价性语言表扬、鼓励学生积极学习，使他们怀着轻松愉快的情绪全身心地投入学习英语的活动中去，收到良好的教学效果。
二、情景创设
情景，语境，是指用语言形式进行听说读写交流信息的社会环景。任何有意义的语言交际活动都是在特定的情景中实现的，情景作用于人的感官使人产生交际的动机和使用英语进行交际的心智活动。情景决定语言表述的意义。语言是客观情景的反映。 没有情景就没有语言的意义，英语交际活动离不开语言的情景。
本次优质课大多数课都能有效采用多种形式创设情景和充分利用英语教学本身的真实情景进行教学。诸如，采用实物、表格、身体语言、多媒体以及利用英语本身和上下文创设情景传授英语基础知识，进行基本技能训练和交际活动。 在情景中理解语言知识和文章内容，由难化易，由浅入深，在与学生互动引导学生理解应用语言知识，突出重点难点；在情景中进行操练提高学生实践的量和质，观后感《英语公开课观后感》。课文内容通过多媒体，通过与学生的互动加强学生的理解、记忆。 在情景中对话交际促进了学生思维的条理化、逻辑顺序化，有利于提高口头理解和表达的正确性和流利性。
三、语言知识
教师重视通过板书和在多媒体投影等创设的情景中对语法知识进行归纳。 例如， 点破归纳语言的结构和规则，提高使用英语的正确性和生成更多的句子灵活运用语言知识进行交际活动的能力。比如，在Wildlife Protection中，作课的老师（河南大学附属中学的王文博老师）首先让学生分析文中的句子结构，让学生自己通过观察，找出现在进行时态的被动语态的构成形式是：be being done, 然后给学生现在进行时态的句子，让他们把这些句子变成被动语态。这种让学生自己去观察、发现、然后去学习、去模仿的教学形式，不仅可以启发学生的思维，发展学生的思维能力，而且培养了他们分析问题、解决问题的能力。
四、英语交际
几乎所有的优质课竞赛课都把培养学生的交际能力作为目的要求。英语是国际交往的重要工具。交际功能是语言的最本质的功能。交际既是目的，又是手段。 交际是一种运用英语进行社会交往的活动。运用英语进行交际的能力，只有通过社会交际活动才能获得和掌握。师生之间，尤其是学生之间，用英语进行交际活动是获得有意义、有效的英语输入和良好情感过滤以及英语信息加工处理转化成有意义的输出的最有效和最理想的途径。
交际的能力包括语言能力，社会语言能力，交流信息的能力和话语能力。 有的教师能运用自己已有的英语知识，特别是刚学习的新的语言材料，把新旧语言知识相互整合，并联系学生实际或通过想象创设的情景，完整地进行语篇的思想交流。 例如，周口郸城一高的王允老师在教Earthquake一课时，让学生比较样本
五、教学过程
教师都很注重优化课堂教学过程。 首先，教师通过真实的或创设的情景使学生理解所学的新的语言知识，再在理解的基础上通过技能训练和交际活动巩固所学语言知识，并使语言知识转化成技能，然后在新的情景中通过对子和小组活动灵活运用所学语言知识达到掌握听说读写运用英语进行交际的能力的目的。
优化课堂教学过程具体体现在能贯彻多信息、快节奏、高密度和勤反复的原则上。
多信息 教师采用实物、多媒体等手段创设新的语言情景，多渠道地给学生提供英语信息源和大量的信息，拓宽视野，从而激励学生学习英语的'强烈兴趣，积极主动参与各项学习活动，同时也避免了英语教学总是围绕着英语课本转和机械操练，重复老内容，缺乏信息的新鲜感，以致造成学生注意力涣散，思维迟缓，产生被动消极情绪，失去学习兴趣，学习退步的后果。
快节奏 教师大都用正常的英语语速进行教学，教学环节严密，各环节和各种操练和交际活动间的交替自然紧奏、快捷，从播放轻音乐、古典音乐导入直至课的发展、高潮、结束富有节奏感。明快的节奏是提高课堂教学效率的关键。
高密度 课堂教学要
勤反复 教师能重视在新的情景中采用多样化的教学方法，重现和运用所学语言知识，并使知识不断获得巩固，听说读写交际的能力不断获得发展。
六、阅读
阅读课文教学是培养学生阅读能力的主要途径。 阅读是主动积极地获取信息的创造性行为，是培养通过视觉感知书面文字符号，获取信息的能力。这种能力常是通过阅读理解整体课文的手段达到的。其中一位教师在做Reading时，引导学生学会自己去找每一段的关键句，告诉学生一般情况下主题句在每一段的第一句，然后让学生自己去观察，去阅读，很好的培养了学生的阅读能力。
阅读课文教学从整体语篇出发，突出培养获取信息的能力。 首先，学生阅读整篇课文，初步理解课文大意和中心思想。然后分段，找出主题句，理解各段的内容和各段落的逻辑联系。 最后再回到语篇进行交际性的操练。这样，学生在进一步准确理解和把握、运用语言知识的基础上进行整篇的交际性操练，使获取信息的能力得到进一步发展。因为获取信息的能力是建筑在准确理解，把握和运用语言知识基础上的。
七、教师素质
参加本次示范课的教师大都具备以下良好的全面素质：
1.正确的语音语调；
2.具有扎实的英语基础知识，能熟练地运用英语组织课堂；
3.英语词语丰富、语言流畅；
4.教态自然，和蔼可亲，表情丰富，仪态整洁、潇洒、轻松、愉快、活泼、稳重、振奋、激昂情意交融。
5.有灵活驾驭课堂教学的能力，遇惊不乱，应变能力强，富有教学艺术性。
6.善于利用多媒体、图表、实物等教学手段创设生动活泼的语言情景。板书设计整洁美观，主题突出，形式多样，设计合理。
八、建议
1.不要过分造假。下面参加互动的老师发言说：有的老师的课完美的让人难以相信它的真实性，学生的能力也太强，有些太离谱了。
2.要加强英语教学的实践性。个别教师讲解知识点过详过多，忽视了学生对知识的接受能力。
3.要注意创设情景的实用性。 有的教师过于强调创设真实情景，以至于占用了很多时间，给人的感觉是为了表演而表演，消弱了英语的操练和交际运用。
4.如此大规模的优质课，要是更具有公平性就好了。
