近日，在报刊上读到这样一则新闻，一条15吨重的巨鲸，搁浅在海南一个渔村边儿上的浅滩；一些小鱼小虾围着巨鲸游来游去，庆幸自己生活在浅滩，不会像巨鲸那样活不下去。尽管人们又是往鱼身上浇水、又是搭凉棚、又是往深海里拖，最终还是没能救活这条巨鲸。
我想像得出，这条巨鲸在深海中时，如深山的猛虎，是海洋的主人。高兴时它可以兴风作浪，不高兴时它可以翻江倒海；想弄潮，只需一翻身……
然而，这样一条巨鲸，在浅滩上却不如小鱼小虾，没了生气，没了深海中的风光。
我觉得，世上的生灵在经历了沧海桑田的演变后，都确定了自己生存的环境和位置，果结在树上，花生埋在土里；有些鱼就应生活在浅滩中，有些鱼，比如巨鲸，就该生活在深海里；换了位置，后果可想而知。
