宁静的夜晚。
皓月当空，微风轻拂。
夜莺正在树上纵情唱着优美动人的《小夜曲》。
许多鸟儿飞来停在四周树上，大家的心里都升上了一种和平、幸福、无限美好的'感觉。
忽然“吼——吼——！”的声音震动了山林，树叶立即瑟瑟发抖。

“怎么？你没有看见我在这儿吗？”夜莺喊道。
狮子这才注意到树上的夜莺，吼道：“哼，原来是你这个小东西！”
夜莺说：“我虽小，但我的歌声给了大家愉快。你虽大，你的吼声只带给大家恐怖和畏惧！”
“呸！混蛋！”狮子生气了，想去扑树上的夜莺。可是，树很高，扑了几次，都扑不到夜莺。
夜莺在树上格格地笑了。
狮子在树下又蹦又跳，毫无办法，大吼了几声，只得悻悻地走开了。它所经过的地方，大家都避开了，没有一个欢迎它。
月亮宁静地把银辉洒在地上，微风柔和地抚弄着树木和草地。
