迎接新春，迎接新春第一缕的曙光，我一直想给你们写一份新年寄语。我不想敷衍，也不想仅仅说几句过年祝福的套话。因为迎来的20xx年是你们初中奠实英语基础的关键之年。你们不能怯步，只能阔步向前。
昨天晚上我在思考给你们寄语认真写点什么？ 我想起曾经看过的三篇文章，也正扣合了我的寄语主题：一篇是面对时尚的肤浅文化有一腔担忧，一篇是面对传统美德精神的一声呼唤，一篇是乱世大儒的执着清醒的一声坚守之绝唱。
这恰恰映射了我今天想表达的其中一些意愿吧，概括三句话是--不迷失自我保持一份理性，不随波逐流坚守一份人格，不丧失追求让精神永恒！
当今社会，良莠并存，乱象丛生，泥沙俱下。怎样清醒而有力量的搏击？怎样从容而有信仰的生存？怎样高质而有理想的追求？这是一个不甘作庸者的人必须思考的问题。社会如一块大湿地，走好是一眼风光无限，走错是一沼泥潭陷落；未来是一方高远的天，飞起来是长空万里，没本领是茫然无路。我们选择什么？当然选择前者！但当你们面对每一个具体问题时，怎样抉择，何去何从。--这就需要头脑和本领，需要人格和智慧。需要知识和能力。
怎样能理智却不混沌，是独善其身，还是被污被浊，很多人很茫然。或者浑然不知从中推波助澜着汹涌着潮流。那么靠什么坚守人格，是你们的精神品格臻于完善，是知识是理智是判断力是价值观，是人心深处的良知！拒绝肤浅的时尚，思考让你们深刻；远离趋功近利，真诚让美德回归。陈寅恪为了学术的一生，虽然失明却心胸洞明，是信仰与真理使其目光如炬。
当今社会是知识竞争时代，怎样适应社会发展的需要？这是你们今后必须面对的`问题和挑战。你们必须脚踏实地，你们要知晓宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。十年寒窗苦作舟，一朝题名乐开怀。你们要具有强烈的求知欲。记住成功源于勤奋。匡衡的凿壁借光，车胤的囊萤照读，司马光的圆木警枕。孔子的韦编三绝，苏秦和孙敬的悬梁刺股，孙康的映雪苦读。这难道不能说明勤奋是一种毅力和永恒吗？勤奋是成功的源泉吗？你们要坚信：学习是一架保持平衡的天平，付出的艰辛必有丰硕的成果。你们要自信：“莫畏难，莫嫌天涯海角远，但肯摇鞭有到时”。
今天就我而言，我在全力认真地为你们的英语教学竭尽全力，我恪守着教师的良知，用最精致的设计雕琢着自己的课堂；我为我的学生奉献着我的余力，也享受着心灵的付出，这是丰富的收获。
转眼你们度过了一学期的中学生活。且行且吟，且思且进。盘点去日，梳理往昔，许多感慨，许多感悟，你们一路走来，我为之骄傲，我为自己喝彩，我为大家自信。虽然一路颠簸，也履历波折，却是步履稳健；虽然也偶尔迸现着零星的散音，那是行程中必然而难忘的点缀。我们风雨兼程，留下了许多成长的印记和足迹。山阻石拦大江毕竟东流去，雪压霜侵梅花必定向阳开。这一切，注定成为我们走向成功的奠基之石。
