Nowadays, to socialize, especially to make friends is gradually becoming more and more essential. Arguments rise when people wonder if they should keep their old friends or make new friends. As far as I am concerned, keeping those old friends are surly more important even though we cannot deny the fact that getting to know about more people is vital. Since old friends are those who know you well, they can usually provide you with a great deal of valuable advices. Old friends are also those kinds of people whom you do not have to accommodate with. What’s more, based on the deep relationships, old friends are always those who will stand out and help you when you are in dilemma.First and foremost, your old friends usually know you well through different kinds of details and thus are trustable. Since they have been with you for a long time, your working and living habits might be completely shown to them. The relations will not lie, they always mark the trust between friends. Friendship is established on the basis of trust thus brings people each other’s loyalty and faith. An old friend might know your weaknesses, which is certainly fine, and he or she will always remind you of them in order to get you on the right track. Since those old friends aretrustable, you can always lean on your old friends. These benefits are not what new friends can provide with.
